Re: [HumJanenge] Where India heading?

Baba Ramdev appeared to be in competition with Anna Hazare and his hurry to go on a fast only weakened Anna's efforts and the common man's chance to come under a united
front!

Having said that the swooping down by the police on peacefully sleeping people at Ramleela maidan is remniscent of treachery notwithstanding the fact that no visiting dignitory to Delhi Air port received a reception as magnanimous as Ramdev received!

Every politician stress that  our protest should be peaceful and non violent but that aweful
night it gave an impression that the Police appear to be having a licence to be violent by attacking unarmed people protesting for a genuine cause and anyone opposing that must be from the bandwagon of corrupt which is proved beyond doubt by the frequency with which massive scams are occuring under the very nose of the government. Attempt by people who matter and the common man to impress upon the powers that be on the gravity corruption over years in and years out drew flak! If person like Ramdev who grew with his own efforts, can afford plenty and carry on with his business has to raise the issue off corruption crippling our country it only amounts to say that there is something terribly wrong with our system!

Turning deaf ear endlessly by powers that be to genuine issues, sustained discrimination, disparity, neglect, suppression, inequitable distribution and so on coupled  with not even the least of efforts put in to alleviate poverty and starvation give birth to 'isms' like naxalism, terrorism, regionalism, racialism and so on and in the backdrop of that Ramdev's announcement to raise an army, at the spur of the moment is, to me, not surprising.

Our government has been denying to its people and opposition the same way Pakistan is in denial mood over the last several years to Indian government and if Pakistan is  wrong in denying evident crimes that they have perpetrated as per indian government, certainly our ruling party is wrong in denying to its people and opposition answers(solutions) to legitimate issues that should have been done in the normal course of administration! Remember every Indian stands behind the government to affirm that our neighbor Iis at fault
but the healthy debate/differences are on how the matter is dealt with!! One if the two, either rebellion or slavery is the result of suppression!!

Namaskar & Vande-Mataram,

Something has gone dramatically & drastically wrong under the cozy environment of Patanjali Yogpeeth (Haridwar).
Baba Ramdev has spoken words which will come back to him like boomerang, this was completely uncalled for.
He and his subordinates taught the importance of a constitution to countrymen and life to follow strictly under the
law of the land. The countrymen followed his words but he himself is falling short in believing the very importance
of constitution. Is it not called hypocrisy?

Although many many people believe that Baba Ramdev has no intention to actually form an army to react with the
army of the constitution of India, his leadership will be questioned by all who believe in law of the land. There is
no doubt the damage control will take place but Baba Ramdev is going to regret that he should not have lost cool.

The countrymen, specially low middle class and poor class is suffering from this drama. In stead of hoping for any
relief, now people are simply confused about the real change in the attitude of the government. On the contrary,
the government has reached its goal in creating chaos in the minds of supporter, who is responsible?

The correct meaning for 'Satyagrah' has been represented to the new generation incorrect way. Many worried
about the Baba's challenge and its impact upon the youth. No matter how one rationalize the need of army trained
in the campus of Pranjali Yogpeeth, begins to loose the intensity & momentum of the Bharat-Swabhiman.

This is my opinion, what is yours?

Respectfully,

Kumar Arun
