Dear Munish
After your post a few (ie. 2) people - old-timers in IAC and AAP (unlike you they are still in there) - called me to explain the rationale for "national" Stalinist purges in AAP, and especially in the Maharashtra unit and the overseas cell which are the potential "cash cows" for any genuine future andolan which is a threat to AK's notorious psychological insecurities.
I have not been following AAP antics for some months and am not surprised at the Stalinist road AAP is now on (since I know who their godfathers are). Although this resignation blog-post by former AAP Mumbai supremo Mayank Gandhi sums it all up (linked below for our readers) what really moved me was a heartfelt comment on it by a "Piyush Bhatia" from Mumbai which I must reproduce - and since so many people have been urging us with the same sentiments

" I joined IAC Mumbai on Day 1 at Azad Maidan on January 30. Thousands of volunteers worked together with pure spirit of working for the nation.
I quit IAC the day AK announced political party.
All this is a natural fallout of converting a Juggernaut called IAC to a power game called AAP!
If IAC was allowed to continue in the last two years, a strong nation-wide citizen group would have existed which could take any political party to task....
