Is IAC forum obsessed with political news/views/analysis? Could it have a NY resolution to usher in self-disclosure era(for all public organisations),ensuring,in letter and spirit, compliance to sec 4 of RTI Act? Let a model format be prepared and a massive campaign be unleashed that those political parties not fulfilling the solemn pledge for transparency(Oath to Constitution means to all Statuates formed under it) will not get public mandate. This is what in best form is India Against Corruption. Tecno help of millions of Indian diaspora could be garnered through a variety of social media, youtube, digital petition campaign and finally forcing the lopsided media to sit up and tak notice and further the cause of transparency that truly makes 130 odd million people as knowledgeable/enlightened masters,in general, and as voters,in specific. Let all august members resole to build this campaign(unique for IAC)and eschew squandering time in. posting worthless pieces (covering trivial /senseless/ directionless issues). Wish Sh Roy exhorts the members to speak in one voice(growing strong one voice) the NY resolution. Its a SMART objective. Specific,Measurable,Achievable,Realistic,Time-bound. By the end of 2014 there MUST be zero deviation from the legally stipulated disclosure. Periodical monitoring and measurement of task accomplished could be organised. That much tecno-management expertise we have aplenty. Simulataneously second campaign to be unleashed MUST be to ensure all States to comply with Legal requirement of having strong/independent Lokayukta Statuate. Pl pl do take the right NY resolution and express in on the forum and don't act as stooges/supporters of diffferent political formations, and don't at all hurriedly/instinctively add to clutter on this forum by making trivial posts, and justify the same under one or the other pretext(kids' lame duck excuses made to teachers for coming late to the class). Happy New Year for a transparent corruptio-free India. SPM. IPS DGP(retd) BE MBA PhD (Research Scholar on Integrated Anti-Corruption Strategy and VIgil on Excellence)
