May I appeal to all to just examine the behavioral pattern of all political parties.
. There is always 100% agreement from all politicians representing us in Parliament/Assemblies when it comes to
(a) increasing their pay and allowances and perks like free travel . Who pays for all these. Answer is WE THE PUBLIC.
(b) To be subjected to RTI. NO is the consensus. The politicians who claim to represent us for our welfare and well being and are funded by us, the general public declare themselves " Private Bodies and should not be questioned by those who are funding them !!! .
(c) When Judiciary suggests that those charge sheeted should be debarred from election , every party without exception join hands to nullify the ruling given by our courts. The reason they cite is political parties in power will misuse their authority to block an INNOCENT and POPULAR candidate by arresting , thus stopping a good guy getting into Parliament . But who is resorting to such tactics . Surely one of the parties. Remedy is to expose such nefarious activities by the politicians themselves. The general AAM ADMI can go to hell .
You will see in the next monsoon session all these bills will be taken up , perhaps the very first day and passed without any problem. Should IAC , Annaji, and the so called civil society do something about this. How is it there is near unanimity when blocking a strong LOKPAL bill ??
Let us not worry about who is going to be our next PM. Rahul or Mody etc. Let us worry NOW ( or never ) to clean up the mess .!. Do something before it is too late.

Like you I am a Mech Engr.

1) I am apolitical and will not stand for elections.

2) I disagree that Nehru was a good leader. He was an English pooch with an inferiority complex continuously sucking upto Mountbattens, and very shallow in his thinking. His Forward Policy lost us Aksai Chin and large parts of NEFA.
Our Armed Forces were badly neglected by him and he listened to sycophants like Krishna Menon. Through him Gandhi remained a force, otherwise MKG would have ended up a washout like Anna Hazare is.

3) Muslims are 40% in our country ? Which country are you from ?

4) IAC absolutely and 100% opposes reservations - including for Womens Reservation Bill etc.

PS: Don't expect a "person" to save the country. Hope for a system that will work efficiently with compassion for the poor and disadvantaged.
