Re: [IAC#RG] Open letters (2) to Gen V.K. Singh

Dear Col Thakur Singh

At a micro level, I absolutely agree that some form of toll exemption / concession may be given to IESMs against production of a secure authentication token. But the same facility will then be demanded by every ex-babu and ex-IPS and ex-municipal councillor etc.

At a macro level, if the Highway is owned by the Govt there should be no toll whatsoever.

I also have no problem with Col Khokar exercising his fundamental Constitutional rights to "freely" travel the length and breadth of India, subject of course to reasonable restrictions. As an Army Officer, the law allowed his vehicle to pass freely, as an IESM (he is a civilian)  he must obey the general law like everyone else.

That is the tragedy (and greatness) of democracy, and perhaps your Jan Sangh Party
will work with us to reach the common goal for which we have both been cordially corresponding for so many years now over.

It is for this reason we are going to be asking for IESMs to be appointed as Justice of the Peace (among other things).

Best regards

Sarbajit

Dear All,

Ex Army people ought to have been given Toll exemption as we deserve
it vis-a-vis MPs/MLAs who stand exempted unduly.

This is the whole problem.

So Dear  S Roy Sahab it is Col Khokar's legitimate right of which he stands deprived off,
dont you agree being against corruption yourself.

Remember it is only army the  savior of the country ever under all the
circumstances.

Col Thakur Singh
