| Mr.DSouza / Sarabjit & All Other Well Wishers of Leslie Almeda For quite sometme, whole lot of mails have been floating around regarding the so-stated attack / stabbing of Leslie Almeda and all feeling concerned by it.This has caused an impression to gain ground that this was a case of an attack on RTI Activist and the allied concern for safety and security of all those who use RTI for various kinds of exposures. It is for the information of all that physical assault & stabbing of Leslie Almeda was done by his own brother and not by any outsider and/or some one feeling pertubed / threatened over some rti application filed by Almeda. It was a case of a family feud between brothers culminating in harsh verbal exchanges and finally ending in physical scuffle between brothers with Almeda getting stabbed by his own younder brothers. It had nothing to do with RTI work as such. On the day, mail regarding stabbing was put on rti board by Almeda himself, many of us in Mumbai got phone calls from various persons making anxious enquiries regarding this incident, perceiving this as a case of yet another attack on an RTI Activist and all of us had to allay their fears in this regard. Leslie Almeda has recouped after his stabbing and is feeling okay THIS IS FOR KIND INFORMATIO OF ALL FROM RTI FRATERNIY S K NANGIA

Myn telephone & broadband access underground laid cables are destroyed by Navayuga Engineering Company who has been awarded contract on Build Operate & Transfer basis bu NHAI for widening of N.H.17 into 4 track expressway. I am without a telephone & internet access since 5 weeks. Writing this mail from shop hiring internet access.
