[IAC#RG] Heads Up - Kisan Swaraj Sammelan 2018 fixed for 2-4th November, in Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad/ किसान स्वराज सम्मेलन 2018 गुजरात विद्यापिठ, अहमदाबाद में 2-4 नवंबर के लिए तय किया गया

Dear friends and co-travellers,

 

As you might be aware, ASHA (Alliance for Sustainable & Holistic Agriculture) www.kisanswaraj.in holds a Kisan Swaraj Sammelan once every two years. This is a Convention that brings members of the large family of ASHA-Kisan Swaraj network together, along with other allies invited too, to update ourselves on various issues, spend time together to share and learn, and to rejuvenate ourselves as an informal alliance. 

 

After the Kisan Swaraj Yatra was completed in December 2010, we all met in Nagpur in 2011, to create some structures for our functioning in ASHA, to make collective plans and implement them. Subsequently, we had Kisan Swaraj Sammelans in Bhopal in 2013 and in Hyderabad in 2016 (in between, we did meet and spend time together when ASHA joined hands with OFAI for a convention in 2015). 

 

This mail is to announce that the Kisan Swaraj Sammelan 2018 will be organised by ASHA and Gujarat Vidyapith on November 2, 3 and 4 2018 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), in Ahmedabad. Incidentally, this is from where ASHA began its journey on Gandhi Jayanti eight years ago.   

 

This is an advance alert, requesting you to block these dates on your calendar to join us. Please await a formal announcement of the Sammelan's registration process and kindly note that while we request you to go ahead and book your tickets for your journey (Diwali this year is a few days after these dates), final confirmation of participation will be based on registration processes that we will initiate and adopt soon. प्रिय दोस्तों और सह यात्रियों,

 

जैसा कि आप जानते होंगे, आशा (सतत और समग्र कृषि के लिए गठबंधन) हर दो साल में एक किसान स्वराज सम्मेलन रखती है। यह एक सम्मेलन है जो आशा-किसान स्वराज नेटवर्क के बड़े परिवार के सदस्यों को एक साथ आमंत्रित करता है, अन्य सहयोगियों के साथ भी, विभिन्न मुद्दों पर जानकारी रखने, साझा करने और सीखने के लिए समय बिताने के लिए, और अनौपचारिक गठबंधन के रूप में खुद को फिर से जीवंत करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है।

४. सभी भारतीयों के लिए गैर रासायनिक या बिना जेहेर वाला विविधतापूर्ण , पोषक और पर्याप्त खाद्य
