[IAC#RG] The Nazi, Fascist sub-conscious mind of Medha Patkar

Dear IAC subscribers

Behind that sweet matronly self effacing exterior, lurks a highly trained, ruthless CIA operative well versed in social manipulation and crowd management psychologies, who puts Arvind Kejriwal in the shade.

Medha tai of course has her Masters in Social Sciences from TISS and she almost completed her PhD too, so Medha tai  is abundantly QUALIFIED in organised social manipulation.

Last week she launched a fake IAC campaign "Above Politics Above Parties" by misusing IAC's brand name and logos on some brochures to show that alleged IAC worker's in Mumbai were backing her - the phone numbers all turned out to be from a pro-ISI political party backed by Mumbai mafia. But, the slogan "Above Politics Above Parties" betrayed Medhatai's sub-conscious mind. Its directly taken from 1960's US crowd control sociologist David Reisman's classic works - quote from an anthology of Reisman.  

"From similar sources were rallied many of the early Nazis, a large wing of the De Gaullists, and many other groups in various countries who place themselves 'above politics,' 'above parties,' and 'above opinions.'" I think Mr. Riesman is right in these suspicions, but he seems to be right against himself. Other-directed man, whether "new-style indifferent" or "inside-dopester," is indeed "trained to recognize a fait accompli, not resist it," and therefore prepared to fall in with any direction that social organization might take, including that of totalitarianism" ("Culture And Social Character The Work Of David Riesman")
