Please let me appreciate what you have said. I agree it is indeed a sad day when activists start fighting with each other and the only people benefiting are the corrupt netas, babus, media and judges.

It is also rightly said that one bad apple spoils all others in the same basket. Let me openly and publicly name that 1 bad apple in India's basket as - Ms. Sonia Gandhi.

If you see carefully, this name - Ms. Sonia Gandhi  - was hardly used /attacked in the 2011-12 anti-corruption campaign. Sure her supposedly estranged son-in-law was later "exposed" by Arvind, but that too was all part of a Congress strategy dreamed up by Pulok Chatterjee, (the controversial IAS officer and Chanakya behind Italians and other foreigners ruling India), to isolate Sonia and ensure deniability. AAP's attack on Vadra as a bonus also makes it easier for any child custody suit/application for the "heirs to the Gandhi legacy" should Roberto have to be dumped overboard.

As is well known I had (quietly) left IAC in August 2010 when I came to know that henceforth some so-called gurus like Sri Sri Ravishankar and Swami Agnivesh (acting on instructions of No.10 Janpath cleverly through some RSS mercenaries and NCPRI people like Aruna Roy, Harsh Mander, Prashant Bhushan etc.) would be associated with it.

Veeresh did not agree with me and stayed on after efforts by many people to convince me not to be so technical/strict but to look instead at the larger public/"national" interest failed.

I also did not agree with the internal things being discussed then that it was the "PMO gang" (ie MMS, PC, Kapil Sibal, Pranab Mukherjee and their babus like TKA Nair) etc. who had looted the nation in CWG (not Sonia gang) and that RSS persons like Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Sudanshu Mittal etc. were all innocent dupes.

I deeply regretted getting the name of India Against Corruption and its revolutionary banners for use by these rascals, who promptly started reducing the sizes of photos of Tilak, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekar Azad, Ashfaqullah Khan (as a Muslim his photo was removed on day 1 of their movement) etc. once they got in. Gradually it was only that familiar old Congress symbol of corruption - smiling faces of Mahatma Gandhi - everywhere. This is something which HRA will never forgive me for, and everything I have done after that is to atone for that colossal blunder.

It was only on 17th Oct 2012 that I got a message that HRA would be obliged if I would immediately start taking an interest in IAC again so that ownership of IAC would not go out of HRA with everyone then claiming to be IAC. I was also told that the agreed Oct 2 2012 exit of Team Arvind from IAC had also got postponed due to this. Hence, I quickly started updating myself with goings-on over the last 1 year. The next day some people who were behind the IAC's social media strategy were put in touch with me and we started isolating the IAC online assets. As there were too many random IAC Facebook sites, blogs, websites etc, we decided to abandon them for the time being. 

On 18th Oct 2012 we were told that Aruna Roy's NCPRI disinformation team was putting together 30 questions for Arvind to answer, which would be released 10 questions at a time spread out over a week by Digvijay Singh. This was actually all a camouflage designed by Pulok Chatterjee to show that Arvind is anti-Congress and their new (but unnamed) party is anti-Congress. The first set of 10 questions was given to us.

It seems this got back to Aruna Roy and that I had been re-inducted to counter them. So Digvijay Singh had to hastily release all his 27 queries on 20.10.2012 evening and IAC(HRA) team (although I was not 100% with them then) struck back with the 9 answers we had ready on 21st afternoon. Since the very first answer directly asked for Pulok Chatterjee's own service record to be examined, they promptly withdrew from the field.

But Team-Arvind reading between the lines (several letters from/to PMO and NAC clearly requesting Arvind and and his wife not be transferred out of Delhi) also had no option but to disclaim and say that the reply was "fake" which was published by HT on 24.10.2012.

By then the IAC's public mailing lists with emails from IAC master database  were also operational (IAC had been using Humjanenge list from 17.10.2012 till then). IAC (I was unfortunately busy elsewhere and could not read it) audaciously put out a rejoinder to HT's article on 25.10.2012.

Unfortunately there were still some Congress/Aruna moles in IAC and some basic errors (such as wrong date of 18.10.2010 as establishing IAC at RamLila maidan) crept into their rejoinder. HRA was furious with this and so on 26.10.2012 at 2:00 AM in the morning I was woken up and told that I would be running IAC exclusively as National Convenor and I had a free hand to decide who (including Anna Hazare) would remain in IAC.

From 8.Nov.2012 onwards Team Anna tried to regroup themselves and made noises about laying claim to IAC name. Kiran Bedi even tried to open a parallel Anna IAC office in Delhi. Within a fortnight HRA convinced them to drop their claims and gave them full freedom to restart Anna's anti-corruption movement as BVGA or JanTantra Morcha etc. or whatever name they choose

In coming emails, I will set at rest certain misconceptions about IAC

a) That IAC is now only a time-pass forum exchanging  emails

b) That IAC is BJP/RSS front /proxy

c) That IAC is only doing RTI

d) That IAC is opposed to AAP etc

NB: IAC's prime goal is to rid India of all corruption but especially foreigners, foreign forces and foreign charity. And this applies equally (IAC is apolitical) to AAP's 200 crores or Sudanshu Mittal's 7,200 crores or Congress's 80,000 crores etc. etc.

While Sarbjeet may be correctly claiming his ownership, on the IAC movement, by virtue of historical facts and we must acknowledge this. However, I would suggest him to also accept the ground reality that IAC caught up big momentum, only with Anna & team spearheading the movement, followed with Arvind, Kiran and the General VK etc. Everyone is an important link of this chain formed by the IAC ideology. When the movement succeeds, the time shall give due recognition to all who contributed to it.

 

Corrupt politicians and administrators are putting their best efforts to break this chain. Let us not allow the corrupt to be successful by using different sets of IAC activists, for the witch-hunting and cross alleging among the different IAC movement teams.

 

We can reach a point of understanding with the thought that the organizations are built and sustained by its heritage and not by personalities. Tomorrow we shall have someone else taking over Sarbajit, Anna and Arvind with a bigger appeal and reasons. I appeal to all IAC ideology people to join up for the common cause of eradicating the nose deep corruption from India, please.
