Re: [IAC#RG] महात्मा गाँधी और नेताजी

Dear responsible and concerned  citizens and friends ,
The  future of democracy in our great  country clearly depends  upon the quality and collective  responsibility of  the political parties / leaderships ( both ruling and the opposition ) , who are capable of inspiring the electorate / public  and seeking their involvement and participation in it's  stable and efficient  functioning  with social justice  and equity , which  has been declining and going awry  due to the growing disconnect , social divisiveness , indiscipline and breakdown of the public institutions , over time . It will have to  be realised sooner than later , that development BEGINS  with the aspirations and skill development  of the  people and NOT with   economic  growth alone .
Learning from History , people have always taken their moral standards from their rulers . So far from giving the moral leadership , after the first lot of rulers  post  Independence  ,which the people have been  yearning and waiting for , our politicians  continue to remain oblivious to this hope .

Only men / women of intellect , moral  values  and  stature can evoke the desired response from the people including the  youth  , without which governance is  certainly heading towards anarchy and insecurity . A bad government ( in terms of the Preamble to the  Constitution ) is  the inevitable consequence of an indifferent electorate . Politics will never be cleaner ,and our Economic future will never be brighter , unless and until our citizens are willing to give of themselves to the nation with their  sense of belonging and ownership .

May I request you to please  consciously  place this , in whatever appropriate  manner , before  the groups   as wide as possible for public debate kshi  , inorder to  let every one including the youth ,  realise and   comprehend the prevailing  Crisis  of the  Political Leadership  , faced by the Society and the Nation , which is  holding us from attaining our glorious  potential .
Thanks / regards
R Adm.( retd. ) H.C.Malhotra

Dear Friends,
I am likely to agree with the views expressed by Mr John Lopez.
In Delhi, AAP has  given tickets to those who could not get ticket from their main party.
Can some one educate me as to how the AAP is going to control its members as they have no affinity / respect / comradeship among themselves and each is on its own.
How will AAP control its winning candidates who will come under huge pressure of money to join the major parties to form the Govt.( Horse Trading )
Request every one to be watchful in the days ahead.
I am not convassing for any Party.

It is our humble view that Mr Kejriwal had joined hands with Anna Hazare to become popular only with elections in mind. He has achieved his goal and we are sure he will be just another corrupt politician in due course of time.

Dear Mr. Pandey,

The litmus test for AAP will be the forthcoming elections in Delhi.
So far neither of the main 2 main parties has given any weight to the APP.
AAP seems to be doing its best but appears to be streched in financial  and manpower resources.
Only one person MS Kiran Bedi  formally joing the party will not make much difference. She can even otherwise help the party and remain apolitical.
From the earlier posts of the National convenor Sh. S. Roy about AAP and AK,you know where their sympathies lies. Certainly not with any of the three main contending parties.
2. Saying that AAM ADMI PARTY has been formed to fight for rights of Common people is not going to be enough.
The Voters have to convinced. Congree Party was also fighting for the rights of Common men till Gandhi was alive.
That is why Gandhi had suggested that it should be disbanded after coming into power. But did this happen. Even today they shout fromrooftops that they are fighting for rights of Common men. Has anyone from congress ranks accepted that there is corruption in the party or the Govt.
3. Let us not compare Annaji with M.Gandhi. He himself has clarified that there  is no comparision. He is Practicing SATYAGRAHA fight for truth through non viol;ence. At one time had become the public face for INDIAAGAINST CORRUPTION MOVEMENT. It is now a history. In the Hindi poem he has been compared with Gandhiji. One may accept that the poet is entitled to hold th is view and many will agree. But his hope that another NETAJI meanig Subhash Chander Bose will emerge will remain a hope,
By all this please do not think I am against AAP but in the murky politics of today the real danger is from Congress and BJP and not COMMON PEOPLE.

Dear Dhirendra,

Which Party is that ?

As we all know, Kiran Bedi very graciously gave up her seat in the
LokPal Bill drafting Committee so that Shanthi Bhushanji (former Union
Law Minister) could become its co-Chairman - instead of Justice
Santosh Hegde (who was only a retired Judge of the Supreme Court) and
so that protocols could be preserved (Pranab Mukherjee - Union
Minister for the State v/s former Union Minister as co-chair for the
People).
