Dear IAC subscribers

It is with considerable regret that I inform the movement that with elections coming near, some corrupt people are getting quite uncomfortable with India Against Corruption's silent activities (ie. out of the media spotlight) which has been wreaking havoc in certain govt departments to the extent  high stakes files are not moving at all, there is decision making paralysis and bribes in these departments have touched astronomical limits to get work down.

In the coming weeks/months we are likely to see some more discredited persons like Sunita Godara emerging to claim that they are still part of India Against Corruption.

They are NOT.

I would like to remind Ms Godara of her own well reported statement issued on behalf of her so-called IAC-Anna office in New Delhi which was openly operating from the residence of Congress Party leader in Sarvodaya Enclave.

"Anna drops IAC Brand Name"

There has been a rash of fake organisations cropping/popping up in last 2 weeks claiming to be affiliated to Anna Hazare. These are all connected with recent Anna's overseas visit and it is well known that he is returning to India with massive foreign funds (2 petis = US$ 370,000) in hand, and with new overseas "friends" and also new Indian religious gurus (Swami Nityananda is the front runner) to head the spiritual side of their movement after Ramdev's open support for BJP and Narendra Modi .

IAC's own annual national core committee meeting has been called in Delhi, where the "Anna situation" will also be discussed. It will be held on 2-3 September 2013.
