RE: [IAC#RG] Frivolous "time pass" discussions on mailing lists

Mr Hari Goyal,

Sir,

The AAM is a good effort and there is much to be appreciated in the guiding principles of the Party. However, standing as one of a horde munching channa and screaming slogans produces little effect to a good cause.

Try going to a Govt run hospital (say Bowring Hosp Bangalore) and catch the woman who does not show a another poor labourer woman who reports to the hospital in the afternoon after birth pains start while working all that day at a construction site, till she gets a bribe of Rs 300,00. By the morning the next day, the baby is sold and money received by the same midwife!

Try getting a Death Certificate as a pensioner's wife without a bribe and understand for yourself what a people we are.

There is no point in only getting after the politician and his breed. Remember that it is out of the corrupt rabble that is the electorate in our Bharat that these politicians are elected. The aam admi (hindu, muslim or isaa) waits to see who provides the most goodies before the cast their vote. Go to the 'gujri' in Bangalore's Shivajinagar or to a small car workshop in the lanes of KR Puram and find out for yourself. The do something at that level to stop the rot; it is not necessary to start a political party to do good.

Ask Annaji why he disassociates himself from Kejriwalji - the two proud and well meaning leaders who already have ideological differences.

Regards
G K

Mr. Balakrishnan,

Very intelligent persons are wasting their time and energy in finding faults with Mr. Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal
and using abusive language. What is their goal? Deshdrohi andolan or so-called Deshbhakti?

Can these people/persons fathom the spirit of millions of people who stood against corruption in these few months
only?

Think of some contribution to the society or nation.

We have received many emails asking for the IAC list(s) to be reactivated.

This was one of many issues discussed at IAC's conference for its "operations side" members which took place last week. About 600 persons participated.

The postings made by various persons over the IAC's email lists over the last 9 months were discussed in considerable detail. It was resolved that the list(s) may continue but henceforth only such messages ought to be circulated which have a tendency to promote / disseminate the core ideologies / values  of India Against Corruption and/or Hindustan Republican Association's mission.

Some conclusions from the meeting may be disclosed in due course.
