India Against Corruption does not force people to  receive emails and makes every effort to delink subscribers as soon as possible.

Due to server problems and intrusive global intelligence surveillance of the riseup activists collective, the IAC mailing list database is lagging with a 72 hour delay for unsubscribe requests. You can expect to be manually unsubscribed in 72 hours,or you can do so easily yourself by visiting
https://lists.riseup.net/www/signoff/indiaresists
and entering your email ID and replying to the verification email. This is a safe procedure.

Please do not keep replying to IAC emails as your unsubscribe priority will then be downgraded to your most recent request

How to unsubscribe from emails like these ?

OPTION # 1  Visit "https://lists.riseup.net/www/signoff/indiaresists"

Enter the email ID you are receiving emails into the box.

After 5 minutes check your "Inbox" AND also your "Spam" folder for a verification email confirming you own the email ID which had requested to unsubscribe. Do what it asks you to do.

OPTION # 2   Send an email to "indiaresists-unsubscribe@lists.riseup.net" from the email ID you want unsubscribed.

After 5 minutes check your "Inbox" AND also your "Spam" folder for a verification email confirming you own the email ID which had requested to unsubscribe. Do what it asks you to do.

NB: These options don't work if your email is being forwarded. The email ID must be exactly as entered in IAC's database (Gmail users may need to try various "." options with their IDs).

How to switch to DIGEST mode.

1) Visit https://lists.riseup.net
2) Create an account for your email ID and LOGIN
3) Visit https://lists.riseup.net/www/indiaresists  (after logging in)
4) Click on subscriber options
5) Click on Mail Delivery, pulldown and select "HTML" or "HTML+Text".
6) Save and exit.

How to switch to remove my company ID and use my personal mail ID ?

1) Visit  https://lists.riseup.net/www/indiaresists
2) Use the "Subscribe" (personal ID) and "Unsubscribe" (Company ID) options.
3) You need to confirm that the email IDs of step 2 are genuine and accessible to you.
