The recruitment of High Court Judges has been taking place in secret, shoddy, scandalous, corrupt and illegal manner to plant "pliable" persons as High Court Judges for their onward promotion as Supreme Court Judges to help save the skin of the People in Power and for them to help to Punish the Political Opponents by abusing those Judges.
That needs a change. A drastic change. Politicians must not be allowed to hand-pick HC Judges at their own whims and fancy.
The selection of HC Judges must be made in Transparent & Democratic Manner with Selection Criteria made public through public notice.
That should be possible by implementing the Supreme Court Judgment (State of Orissa & Ors Vs Mamata Mohanty - https://t.co/otuAZX68) that has laid down that the public servant recruited without inviting applications through public notice is not entitled even to salary.
That being the case, the first and foremost step is issuance of the public notice.
Today, I requested Prime Minister for a copy of public notice as 300 vacant posts for HC Judges is reported - https://t.co/m969Fdvy
Let the cleansing of the system commence. Now.
For future generation to reap the benefit of the clean system.
