Did he have a history of health problems that didn't get reported? The media is reporting doctors saying that he had no internal injuries and died of cardiac arrest. However there is no dispute over him being found injured including bruises on the chest. I have no idea how something that can create a bruise on the chest can lead to cardiac arrest or not. I don't know either way. However, to simply dismiss the whole as a deliberately malicious plant, there is this process of claiming him to be completely uninjured - which too is a lie. The idea that the Congress is the only party doing media plants is bizarre. What was spontaneous protests is largely a chest thumping dhanda with every party trying to get the most mileage, their interpretation of choice and a few kicks at pet hate targets thrown in. I think it is not useful for IAC to get into this war of words. In my view, if he was assaulted, that was wrong. Whether that killed him is for doctors and courts. It also remains to be seen if the people accused were the exact people who assaulted - police are both capable of tracing people who did the crime as well as grabbing a few troublemakers and putting them out of commission. Media fakes a lot, but there was no doubt from the live coverage that there was deliberate provocation of police ranging from rushing the pickets to throwing stones. It also cannot be denied that there are several policemen injured. Therefore to can the holier-than-thou. Any halos in this sorry story are long eclipsed by troublemakers of every hue.
