RE: [HumJanenge] 100 Years of our National Anthem washed away by corrupt activists

Dear Mr Gupta,

There is nothing surprising that people found faults with Mahatma Gandhi who sacrificed his life for the Independence struggle & Godse thought it fit to eliminate   him.

If that be so Anna is too small a person. He said " I am  not worth   comparison with Mahatma. I am  only a follower"

Anna might have committed some inoccous mistakes here & there in his earlier days but one can't carry those small aberrations all his life & paint his good deeds with same brush.
One needs to see to believe what he has made of his village.
He is simple & not articulate . It can be judged from his utterences
1 when some one slapped Pawar  &
2 yesterday  in Mumbai on women infertility.

He has been fighting against corruption for last many decades in Maharashtra & was instrumental for resignation of many ministers. And now he has been brought to Capital of the country to fight this menace at National level. The Govt /Party sent  teams to find some weak points to trap him but failed .One of the Cong spokesman levied corruption charges against him but immediately backed out & offered apologies since he knew there was no substance in his charge.

The man has no personal agenda or desire to get a position in politics . He has dedicated his life for fight against corruption . And still if some one thinks he is a fraud, one has every right to have his opinion .

In a debate on Lokpal last night, one  MP said that Lokpal bill is a death warrant for us !!

So we have  people with different views & this should not  upset majority of us.

Wishing you all a Very Happy New Year.

Regards

Prem Gaba

Dear Sarab,

I have amended point 2) mentioned by you
2)  Pick up yur guns and start defending your nation against the corrupts.

You are on which side of the fence.

If you disagree with me, take an opinion poll to decide who is right.

Today is the 100th anniversary of the National Anthem.

Today is also the day when a bunch of "touts" (as identified by a
Supreme Court Judge after hearing detailed evidence) have manipulated
Parliament (or at least 1 house) into passing a farcical law seeking
to end corruption.

Since the National Anthem is also my religion's hymn (well before Mr.
Nehru heard it at Doon School where it was also the "school song"),
its time to introspect.

1) God save our country now.
2) Pick up your guns and start defending your nation against these touts

Sarbajit
