It is futile to reason with people who have blinkered / closed minds. Our Amymen especially are
trained to get on with it and not think twice about it. They are conditioned (like little Pavlovian dogs)
to be unquestioning in carrying out orders and to have respect for the wisdom of higher / competent
authority who are seeing the big picture back at HQ even if it diverges wildly from the ground reality.
Unfortunately what Col Gupta forgets, is that this slavish approach is exactly what happened in 1962
when due to the great neglect of our great armed forces our warriors on the ground were martyred
by poor logistics and supplies, the complete lack of planning and absolutely incompetent leadership. Like
all great generalists they were busy planning for the last war buying Rafale jets and US helicopters
when they should have been building hospitals and installing infrastructure.
Our present Home Secretary, Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhalla, IAS is no less incompetent today than Gen B.M. Kaul was
back in 1962. What Ravi is capturing in his graphs only reflects the great incompetence back in North Block
where all they do is hold meetings with their made-in-China wide screen LED TV screens and virtual
reality games where streams of migrants are nothing but disembodied sprites out of PUB-G or GrandTheftAuto.
The parallels today with 1962 are uncanny. We have a charismatic leader who understands nothing of the science
of war, who is prone to being a "one man Rambo army" (thanks "Jatin"), who is trapped in an echo chamber of praise
from a Greek chorus of "bhakts" and who relies on some of the most venal and incompetent people to give him information.
In simple language, the BJP is as rotten and as ideologically bankrupt as its predecessor Congress Party was in 1962.
This has resulted in this horrific situation where our frontline "warriors" had once again to "make do" with improvised
weapons against the adversary.
That Mr. Modi is personally corrupt is clear from this latest SCANDAL of Rs. 2,000 crores for ventilators being placed
on his cronies.It is a repeat of the RAFALE scam where he bailed out a virtually bankrupt Anil Ambani. It is an open secret
that the bulk of this mythical 20 lakh crores is going to be used to bail out all Modi's bankrupt cronies who drove our
PSU banks to ruin. How much of it is being round-tripped into Mukesh Ambani's rights issue is something which remains
to be seen.
FYI, I am expecting some time-bound replies from Mr.Modi's IAS officers very soon to some pointed queries and complaints
I have made directed at certain corrupt IAS officers. Mr. Modi's repeated unwillingness to take action against these corrupt
IAS officers clearly establishes to me that they are acting for him and with his blessings. It is cause for concern when honest
and upright IAS officers get shunted aside at the ACC which Mr. Modi presides over so that venal ones get core posts. The
tragedy today is that we are faced with great incompetence and grave corruption in our Central Govt.

Now that Central Govt. has thrown in the towel in the fight against COVID-19 and handed over the responsibility to the States, I can make the following SCIENTIFIC observations (see attached images at end of my email)

3. That India's official (but rigged and downplayed) numbers have reached 5,000+ new infections per day (screen shot attached).

That our proprietary AI-driven indicators at IIM Ahmedabad show that the USA achieved its infection peak on 10-April-2020 and the number of daily infections is dropping daily there (albeit slowly) for the past 45 days. In India, the peak is still some time away (however, India's official statistics cannot be trusted and are downplayed, like China does, by a factor of at least 12 through systematic incentivization to downplay cases and deaths)
5. The recent Data driven research from the USA (New York) shows that there are 20 asymptomatic infections for every reported case. In New York, the most badly affected metro city of USA, rapid antibody tests there estimate that 20% of the population is infected. Similar (very confidential tests under NCDC using controversial Chinese rapid kits) mass tests carried out in Mumbai's slums of Dharavi, Antop Hill, Mohammed Ali Road, Lower Parel areas etc recently show that only 4% of the population is asymptomatic or has encountered the virus.This is disturbing because it shows India is very far away from the herd immunity levels of 65-70% infections needed.
CONCLUSION : The USA has adopted a strategic policy of ACCELERATING the spread of the virus and they could achieve "PEAK" transmission in only 22 days of Phase-2. In India despite 70 days of painful Lockdown we will not achieve PEAK. After 45 days of PEAK (on 10-April-2020) and with a sustained DECLINE in transmission rate the USA can consider easing up on (nominal) Lockdown restrictions and open their country up. On the other hand the RASCAL SCIENTIFICALLY ILLITERATE "PROSTITUTE" IAS officers in MHA and MoHFW are relaxing restrictions and opening up the Indian workplaces when the disease is at the early stages of the most dangerous and prolonged stage 3 and is ACCELERATING STEEPLY.
God save this country from such IAS fools in our Ministries. What "steel frame" is this IAS, when they are as weak as rubber bands ?
