Mr Kumar probably doesn't know that the Vedic languages both of the Rig and the later Veda-Vedanga are Indo-European languages. That many great (avowedly 'Hindu') scholars, and ideologues like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, have pointed out the 'foreign' origin of the Vedic peoples, the ones who pressed Soma or Haoma from Iran to Afghanistan, worshipped fire, rode Turkmen and Kazakh horses, knew nothing about the sacred Ganga or powerful female deities such as Durga and Vindhyavasini and looked down on the subjugated though talented 'dasa-dasi', dark skinned first inhabitants of that once green and fruitful land they coveted and conquered, now called 'India'.
