[IAC#RG] IAC action: Afzal Guru remarks expunged from Vice President's speech records

Further to my RTI request of 01.01.2018 to VicePresident's office.

I am happy to report to our andolan's subscribers that the Vice President's website no longer contains the Afzal Guru remarks delievered in his speech made on the occasion of release of a book on tRSS pracharak the late Ashok Singhal on 7.12.2017.

The issue IAC was concerned with was the impropriety of a Constitutional officer linking the iconic national song Bande Mataram with Afzal Guru, and to underscore that the 'Bande Mataram' is not the theka / jaagir of RSS (who had nothing to do with the song anyway) to be dishonoured like this for petty politics.
