[IAC#RG] Water woes in the INDIAN RAILWAYS

Friends,

I do recall that some years back,  a senior official from the Mechanical / Engineering department had successfully demonstrated a simple filter in Railway stations using coconut coir filters, and no machinery.   He was known to my father Shri Vag Umanath Shenai, Chief Signals & Telecommunication Engineer, Indian Railways.

By retrofitting BIOSANITIZER (TM),  enhanced purification becomes possible.

There are three simple tests to evaluate the water quality without a laboratory.

1. It should not corrode 'temple' copper  99% pure.

2. It should not create slime in 24-28 hours inside the container in which it is stored.

3. It should not breed biting mosquitoes in 15 days + in an open bucket.

I have demonstrated turning toilet water into potable water which does not corrode iron using BIOSANITIZER.

The water 'industry' is believed to be growing in India at U.S. $ 2 Billion, if not more.

Also demonstrated was sewage treatment at Nashik Municipal Corporation, for 120 Million Litres per day, which blended with untreated drain water of similar volumes, yet when water was sampled just 6 Kms downstream in the GODAVARI, it was found to be better than the IS specification for drinking water, by an Internationally Accredited Laboratory.

The electro-mechanical aerators were switched off and it was found to enhance the Eco processes.

So energy and maintenance costs savings were also demonstrated.

No one has cost effective remedy to tackle salts in the water except this breakthrough INDIAN Eco Technology.

I know about the Railway issues because I was born in a RAILWAY family.

Commercialisation of each and every aspect of services is wrecking safety and satisfaction to passengers, although it is done using these words.

We must not blindly follow primitive Western Science and its 'industrial' solutions because they do not deliver, as the man made technologies have limitations.

The plastic bottles introduce their own toxicity and create an environmental hazard.

I observe that sanity is being lost and we are blindly following norms & rules created by 'industry' to create business for itself.

We need to rise above such perverted pathways.

Ecological regards,

Shantharam Shenai

Sir,

BY EMAIL

Please find below the trail emails concerning my Public Grievance (submitted in larger public interest) sent to a senior officers under / attached to your Ministry, which is being ignored.

It needs to be urgently explained / clarified to the public at large why the prescribed codes for providing essential passenger amenities such as free drinking water are being openly flouted and your Ministry's regulatory officers are colluding with the operators to permit it.

I am further constrained to bring to your notice the willful malfeasance in office of your Ministry's Joint Secretary & Public Grievance Officer who has failed to register (within 3 days as prescribed by "Manual of Office Procedure") my public grievance and provide me the CPGRAMS number to enable it to be tracked and monitored.

The said grievance was submitted in larger public interest of lakhs of affected passengers and the very least that was expected is that it would be acknowledged and duly diarised in the CPGRAMS system. Instead the operators are being allowed to carry on making outrageous profits  by only forcefully selling their artificially bottled water at hugely inflated rates by denying passengers/citizens the right to potable water in drinking fountains as prescribed.

Accordingly, the India Against Corruption jan andolan, has reason to believe that the strange inaction of your Ministry is for corrupt reasons and that there is a syndicate of senior officers under/attached to your Ministry, who are part of this water mafia, and who even deny drinking water to juveniles in extreme distress.

Accordingly, India Against Corruption requests you to kindly ensure that the CPGRAMS ID evidencing registration of my public grievance is issued immediately as prescribed, and that my grievance is resolved forthwith so that passengers get free drinking water without any further delay.

With best wishes
