Re: [IAC#RG] The beginning of the end for AAP

The clear message from the recently concluded elections in  Delhi as well as other State Assemblies that the  electorate voted against Congress because of the rampant corruption in all walks of life.  There are so many Scams in UPA I and II viz., Defence Purchases and (bribing) Politicians from Defence Funds (VK Singh's confession)  CWGs, 2G, Coalgate, Adharsh,  Ironore exports etc., and the Congress is directly involved in all these Scams.  Eventhough these Scams's probes  are monitored by SC, the  Congress is working over time  to cover up all these Scams through their various agencies like CBI, CVO, AG, Law Ministry.  It is Congress's hypocrisy to term their  total defeat  in these 4 States due to local issues.  There are no local issues for their utter defeat.  The electorates in these 4 States have echoed the  Nation's perception about Congress.

When the Delhi electorate voted to teach a lesson to the Congress, AAP's forming a Govt with the support of Congress is most unethical, undemocratic  and goes against the majority's perception. By aligning with Congress for the sake of forming a Govt and to avoid re-election  doesn't hold water and it is most opportunism.   The majority wants a non-congress Govt. at Delhi going by their track records for the past 10 years. AAP's decision to form the Govt. with the support of Congress based on SMS  referendum is hollow.  What is the guarantee (genuineness) that overwhelming acceptance to align with Congress to form the Govt. received through SMS is from AAP supporters. How can AAP identify that the SMS received are from AAP supporters.  The electorate voted against AAP and BJP in 28 and 32+1 constituencies are Congress supporters.  These Congress supporters would have also sent SMS to accept Congress support.  Hence the SMS acceptance cannot be concluded as AAP supporters' referendum.

To avoid re-election in such circumstances, Constitution should be amended to permit to  form All Party Govt.(Like a National Govt)  The majority party of the elected Representatives to head (CM) such a coalition Govt. The representation of each party in the Govt. can be decided based on the % of votes polled by each party.     A time bound Common Minimum Programme should be chalked out and the Coalition Govt. should function within that framework with full accountability.  There should be a collective decision for all programmes by all the Coalition parties.  Each one should not drift away due to their different political ideologies In the interest of good governance and delivering goods to the people who voted them to power. The Coalition parties should sink their differences and work for a common cause.  Any make shift arrangements other than this, is undemocratic and opportunism to the core. The Constitution may not subscribe to such an All Party Govt. at States.

The Delhi electorate have given overwhelming support to AAP only because of their Anti Corruption ideology.  Aligning with the Congress to form the Govt, AAP defeats its own mandate. Indira Gandhi supported (it is a ploy)  Charan Singh to form at Centre to pull it down to suit her convenience at the most opportune time.   AAP will face the same ploy/music  if it  forms  a Govt. with the support of Congress which is basically unethical.  If AAP is taking support from Congress to form a Govt,  it cannot claim to be Aam Aathmi Party.
With Best Regards,

People who voted to AAP has done so for seeing AAP govt in Delhi. If any body expected a different opinion from those voters by again asking whether to form govt with outside support is committing time waste. There is no justification in undermining people's mandate reflected in the concluded election by getting further opinions from the voters and public. AAP this time committed big blunder which they must realise before taking a final decision

If AAP forms govt with support of the congress that is unfair to the Delhi voters. BJP got 32 plus one of their independent,in the 70 member assembly, They lost three seats to AAP with margin of less than one thousand i,e Sadar, Vikaspuri and Delhi cant, and five seats with less than two thousand votes. They have got very huge margin from some seats. In Kirari their winning margin of 48,526 is double than the votes secured by nearest AAP rival. In Krishna Nagar also their CM Candidate secured a huge margin over nearest rival. In total vote share also they outshined other parties. This calculation shows that Delhi In fact voted for BJP rule. In other words More voters wanted to see a BJP rule than AAP . If AAP is a genuine and model political force they could have rejected congress unconditional support by saying that more people voted for BJP rule. If congress did not want to go for re-election they could have extended the unconditional support to BJP rather than forcing AAP to committing the sin of forming government when people did not chose so.

By agreeing to form a Govt with Congress support, AAP has shown that they are as unprincipled and untrustworthy as everybody else.
