Re: [IAC#RG] fwd: Basic ingredients of IAC

Dear Dr Chaudhary

What was started in Jan 2011 was a supposedly anti-corruption movement which was itself corrupt from day #1. It was not the IAC - it was, as you said, Anna Hazazre's anti-corruption movement.

1) The present IAC movement was conceived in 2007 and started in 2008-09 with a few of us like me, Veeresh Malik (an IAC Gen-Sec) and others from Humjanenge who were upset with the impending CWG games scams - this was 2 years before everyone else. Veeresh first roped in the Sports Authority of India as a public authority under RTI Act. The matter went to High Court and Veeresh won a fantastic order which opened the info floodgates as we started RTI'ing all the sports associations.

2) After that the corrupt elements (black sheep in RTI fraternity closely connected with political parties), tried to derail that judgment  and used all kinds of tactics to dissuade us.

3) After a lot of bad blood and in-fighting a formula was arrived at between HRA and Team-Arvind concerning the use of IAC name. Humjanenge team refused to participate in IAC at that time.

4) Parallely, a team of 6 veteran Gandhians of the Gandhi Satyagraha brigade were to go on hunger-strike in Jan 2011. Of these 3 were hardcore persons who would not change their minds - they were the ones asking for Lokpal Act among other things. The UPA govt was scared, they persuaded another of their pet poodles - Kiran Bedi - to convince these Gandhians to call of their fast - and she made all sorts of false assurances to them to do so and sobbed crocodile tears. A few days after the fast was called off, the UPA spin doctors hired (ie. paid handsome amounts of money to) a fake "Gandhian" Anna Hazare to instead go on fast for Lokpal Bill. All sorts of corrupt persons added themselves to this tamasha show thereafter. The nett result as we all know was ZERO, in fact -ve as all the public outrage against CWG got dissipated.

As far as I am concerned, when I know that many of the so called Team Anna v1.0 were corrupt, why should I accept that Gen VKS or Team 2.0 are honest ? He will have to prove it by his deeds and actions - and not by his associations.

We (ie IAC) have a detailed action plan to take on corruption.

Dear all

Jai Hind

It is deeply regretted that the anti-corruption Anna movement which was started by all of us 2 years back ,has been divied in so many parts.I was the first person 2 start this movement along with  Ranbir & Anand Bhusan in Bihar on 30th jan 2011.V had great enthusiasm when v had first march frm Gate public library to Gandhi maidan, patna.By couse of time v have developed a very good network all over Bihar.People joined frm all sections of th society, frm villages 2 towns, frm schools 2 colleges...But now?Now th common man is confused. The movement is basically now creating more problems than th solutions.Gen singh was in patna on 2nd and 3rd jan'2013.(Even today Gen singh is in patna & jehanabad, just finished meeting at jehanabad)In
meetings at Gandhi museum & at Get together hall had probably seen th rift among th vol by Gen singh.I met Gen. personally several occasions this time & in last sep. & nov. regarding future of th movement. Now I am requesting all again 2 unite and give a new direction to this country .Pl leave our egos, work honestly with concrete action plan.Otherwise this country will b cont. 2 b looted....THEN NEXT GENERATION WON'T PARDON US.

Regards
