Re: [IAC#RG] New DRDO Drug 2-DG is based on Acharya Balkrishna’s research

Dear all,
Thanks to Dr Rajan for his reply. There is lot of research on 2-DG use in cancer treatment. Considering the fact that there is no proven and 100% effective drug against COVID, research community is testing the efficacy of various antiviral n other drugs to treat COVID (repurposed drug). Kudos to DRDO and let us hope that the drug is successful.

[IAC#RG] SAFETY PROTOCOL CANNOT BE COMPROMISED

At the COVID wards in the various government hospitals the oxygen cylinders are being reportedly handled by all and sundry including police personnel. This is totally unacceptable and being very dangerous must immediately stop. A designated team of experienced technicians must be entrusted the task of handling the oxygen cylinders and augmenting its flow.

The doctors, nurses and multi task workers tirelessly working for over a year at the various Covid wards seem to be physically and mentally exhausted which is perhaps taking the toll on their performance. Those working on the night shift starting at 8 pm due to the sheer overload of patients seem to be wrecked by the early hours of the morning which possibly could be the reason why there are so many deaths of patients between 2 am and 6 am. The authorities should consider posting additional staff in these precarious wards during these hours to supplement and tide up the work load.

Those working at the hospitals are humans and should be humanely treated as they so dedicatedly work trying to save lives while risking their own. We are going through exceptional times and the government would have to adopt a practical and flexible protocol in handling the logistics in this mega battle against this vicious virus which is claiming so many lives everyday.

Unless the Government shows leadership by putting in place a robust and flexible plan to proactively respond to the serious challenges after taking and abiding by expert medical advice, it will always play second fiddle to the rampant virus and the destructive trail of human tragedy it leaves behind. It must ensure that it urgently well equips all hospitals and medical centers with adequate human resources and expertise besides with the necessary equipment needed to treat both patients and our front line warriors with dignity, care and a chance of survival.

Re: [IAC#RG] If you see an IAS babu lynch him

1) My last communication address to you directly irrespective of your caricature mails
2) So you are not in India. No wonder
3) It is Fadnavis and not Phadnavis. Much so for Ahmednagar
4) The word 'uncouth' is directed at your crass language used in your mails and not directed at IAS officers
5) Who an IAS officer is, I know very well. So stop preaching

And stop your riling sitting thousands of miles away. Like me, no one gives a damn.

That they did not do so, despite several formal registered complaints given months in advance to them by HRA clearly stating that there would be breakdown of public law and order and creation of super spreader events, is sufficient evidence to HRA of their murderous intentions for which they richly deserve to suffer the same fate as their deceased victims.

" The state decided to conduct mahakumbh and drop the requests of symbolism by the center to give relief to the stressed tourism and hospitality sector. Mind it, tourism and hospitality is one of the key economic drivers for Uttarakhand."

Do you suggest that if In the process millions get infected in the rest of the country, lakhs die, families lose the parents, ther wives, their unborn children and, incidentally, the larger ECONOMY gets totally demolished affecting the poor and organised sectors, that is OK to all the knickerwallahs and their homosexual motherloving Prime Minister.

Re: [IAC#RG] If you see an IAS babu lynch him

Madam

There is no justice in India. The "justice" system has been fully subverted by this gang of thugs

Gandhian tactics won't work against them and will simply play into their hands, as they have to be taught a lesson on the ground in the language thugs understand. Our cadres in Bengal have shown the way last week and it must be replicated across Hindustan.

It is also high time that the Congress Party purges their foreign brand squatters and reverts to its Hindustani nationalistic secular roots.

[IAC#RG] EXPERTS AND NOT QUACKS SHOULD GUIDE THE GOVT IN TACKLING COVID

The belated move by Health Minister Vishwajit Rane to commence prophylaxis (Preventive) treatment with Ivermectin may be a step in the right direction in the battle against COVID. Why could not the authorities move in this direction earlier?

Infact, on April 29th the former Dean of Goa Medical College Dr VN Jindal had in a published article strongly advocated that such a treatment could be highly beneficial. Dr Jindal had given a detailed reasoning and justification as to how it could be helpful and had emphasized that Ivermectin was established to be a safe drug.

We are dealing with a new virus so the contention now that there is no conclusive proof that Ivermectin is effective may be far fetched which may also apply to the very efficacy of the vaccines launched. At least it is proven that Ivermectin has no side effects and so can do no harm.

With the pandemic raging, scientists predict that this Virus and its mutations will be around for a while. There is an absolute need for every government to look beyond its nose and to think out of the box to critically assess the ground reality while ensuring that it gets its priorities right. Priorities that will put the health, welfare and best interests of its citizens first.

Our Health Minister would be well advised to please at all times in this deepening crisis be solely guided by medical experts with proven credentials. Depending on or being carried away by some of those quacks in the BJP could be perilous and only further worsen the current calamity. It will only be a recipe for more precious lives needlessly ending up in our already overwhelmed cemeteries and crematoriums.
