It seems you are very keen about this India Against Corruption movement. i wish you all success. but i would like to clear a few confusions that keep on disturbing me regarding corruption. what is corruption? when admitting my son to the school I passed from, i filled in a space for alumni. is it not for some kind of identification for seeking advantage as group or class etc. over who cannot fill that space? is that corruption? i called a doctor friend of mine to take 'extra' care of a patient known to me. is it some kind of corruption in demanding something 'extra' over and above he would have otherwise got? i do not know any doctor of repute who do never in their time received any inputs of whatever kind from pharma companies. so all doctors are corrupt? an artist or politician tries to 'push' or 'promote' his or her children ahead of others. is it corruption? when a police constable takes a bribe of rs 10/- it is corruption. when a powerful officer facilitates a file good for public in general after receiving some unauthorized inputs it is corruption? when we try to jump the queue at the bus stop, is it corruption? when a powerful person take crores it is corruption. is it not that corruption, like so many other thing, is like a ladder? amount and proportion in quality and quantity and how much that 'corruption; will affect others depends on ones situation, scope and opportunity. no way the any of those mentioned above are more or less corrupt than the others.
it would be most kind of you to clear the mind of this corrupt man.
