Re: [HumJanenge] Information on ISO Certifying agencies

Dear ALL,

Recently[On 13 Nov 2010], I had received a SMS from one such ISO Certification- Service Provider  & his mobile No is 09953403130.

If any one is keen to make more research on the entire of gamut /mechanism of operations, then Please contact them discreetly & try to gather all the information as required to suit your requirements /objectives.

While on this subject, I too know of a Company who claims to be with !000+ crores in turnover fabricating items for Oil & Gas Industry, just holding registration because it gets orders from Public Sector who insist on the same, Honestly, even simple documentation of receipts & issues /payouts are not properly maintained, you know why ?

Hence it only a Dead Cock's feather on such organization's cap & has no weightage.

Best of Luck in your mission.

Dear Sir

ISO Certification can also be obtained by service enterprises ,
it is not limited to manufacturing concerns alone .

It is, however, true that ISO Certification can be purchased from
some unscruplous agencies . I know of one .

Do not take ISO certification very seriously.  I know one Financer cum Estate Agent in Dwarka, Delhi who is dishonest and is running his shop by displaying ISO certification from the Company office at Rajendra Nagar, Delhi.  It is sait that these certification can be purchased by paying some amount.   I do not know the logic of ISO certification for the Property Dealer cum Financer who does not manufacture anything.

Please note that ISO Certification is voluntary,
not mandatory , although several importers
or Government/private buyers may impose this
requirement on the mfrs .

Therefore, the certification is not subjected to any
Central or State laws .

Perhaps a RTI application to BIS as well as the
Ministry of Small ,Medium and Microenterprises
to know the details of recognised ISO Certifiying agencies
would be useful. If there is a specific query, I would be
glad to respond .
