I can assure you that L.K.Advani was blackmailed (as defined in Indian
Penal Code section 503 et.al) into recommending Shailesh Gandhi for
appointment as Central Information Commissioner.

Luckily for all of us, a similar attempt to blackmail him when CIC(WH)
resigned was thwarted by forces of good and WH had to stick on as a
stop-gap measure.

I am privy to crucial facts of the "injury" comprising the threat and
the other parties and monies involved. Mr Habibullah also knows what I
am referring to.
