[HumJanenge] Creterions for Choosing CIC from among RTI activists

Distinguished members,

Mirza Saleem Baig of Bhojpur near Moradabad UP to me is someone who is one of the most dedicated RTI activist and he is one who has filed RTI applications on several matters. As a result of this, he was implicated in false cases and even now, I guess there are some. I think for recommending people, we need to consider the number of issues that have been taken up personally as well. He has spent his personal wealth in the struggle. Of course, we have many like him who are facing tough situation as a result of RTI activism for making the governance transparent , accountable and responsible.

Unfortunately only "eminent" people can be appointed. (At least in
theory)

PS: I wouldn't provoke Mr Sharma if I were you. He is now an enforcer
at this group (which automatically makes him an enforcer at all the 3
RTI google groups).
