I have an idea. If we all think it is good, then let us push it.
You know our govts. Dole out huge subsidiaries towards cheaper power, water, fertiliser etc. to our farmers. But you know most of it goes to only rich farmers for obvious reasons
The solution can be that total subsidy be equally distributed among all farmers and the money be transferred directly to their individual accounts. And let the farmers buy everything on the market prices. It is similar to the LPG subsidy.
As per one estimate, the amount will be about 7,500/- per month to each farmer family.
To make it even better let the amount be transferred in the account of the farmer's wife.
