Re: [IAC#RG] Congrats AAP Team

THERE IS NO MEANING IN SAYING THAT ALL PARTIES ARE CORRUPT .THERE ARE CORRUPT PEOPLE IN ALL PARTIES.THERE ARE HONEST PEOPLE ALSO IN ALL PARTIES.IT IS A FACT THAT ' POWER CORRUPTS'. MY FATHER (LATE KULAPPURAM N.PARAMESWARAN PILLAI,ADVOCATE,KUZHITHURAI) WHO WAS A CONGRESS MAN TILL HE BREATHED THE LAST,USED TO SAY THAT MOST  OF THE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS PARTY WERE HONEST AND THAT PERCENTAGE OF THE CORRUPT IS INCREASING DAY BY DAY .HE ALSO SAID THAT  IN TAMILNADU,COMPARED TO CONGRESS, CPI(M) IS HAVING LESSER NUMBER OF CORRUPT PEOPLE. IN KERALS,HE SAID THE PERCENTAGE OF CORRUPT IN BOTH CONGRESS AND CPI(M) IS ALMOST THE SAME .POWER CORRUPTS.FAMILY OBLIGATIONS ALSO MAY CORRUPT.SHRI.KAMARAJ,WAS HONEST MAINLY BECAUSE HE WAS A BACHELOR.I AM NOT SAYING THAT MARRIED PERSONS  WILL ALWAYS BE CORRUPT.MEMBERS* OF CONGRESS PARTY BEFORE THEY GAINED POWER,MEMBERS* OF CPM(M) IN STATES OTHER THAN KERALA,WEST BENGAL AND TRIPURA ARE HONEST(* MOST OF THE).THERE  ARE VERY VERY HONEST PEOPLE IN ALL PARTIES.SIMILARLY,THERE ARE VERY VERY HONEST PEOPLE IN GOVT AQUASI GOVT AND PRIVATE SERVICE.THESE PEOPLE SHOULD UNITE.MOST OF THE MEMBERS OF AAP OF TODAY ARE HONEST.AS AAP WAS ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY TOO MAY BE VOTED TO GOVERN ,THE CORRUPT ELEMENTS WILL BEGIN TO JOIN AAP.CPI(M) OF WEST BENGAL TO DAY IS NOT THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF 1967.SHRI .KEJREWAL IS INVITING PERSONS FROM ALL POLITICAL PARTIS TO JOIN AAP.AAP SHOULD SCREEN THEM .COMPLETE BIO DATA HAS TO BE OBTAINED AND ASSETS AND LIABILITY STATEMENT HAS TO BE OBTAINED.ONLY ON CONFIRMING THAT THE APPLICANT WAS NEVER CORRUPT AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE HONEST,HE MAY BE GIVEN MEMBERSHIP.ASSETS AND LIABILITY STATEMENT HAS TO BE OBTAINED ON AN ANNUAL BASIS FROM ALL THE MEMBERS.THAT APART,APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED FOR MEMBERSHIP MUST BE PUT IN THE WEBSITE AND PUBLIC SHOULD BE GIVEN AN OPERTUNITY TO POINT OUT THE UNHOLY/CORRUPT BEHAVIOUR OF THE  APPLICANT.IT CAN BE POSTED ON STATE CUM DSTRICT CUM  TALUL CUM CITY/TOWN/VILLAGE BASIS SO THAT PEOPLE IN THE LOCALITY WILL BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY APPLICANTS IN THEIR ARE VERY EASILY.I HOPE AND WISH THAT ONLY SERVICE MINDED PEOPLE WHO WERE NEVER CORRUPT AND WHO WILL CONTINUE TO BE HONEST WILL GET IN TO AAP.I CONGRATULATE THE ESTEEMED VOTERS OF DELHI FOR MAKING US TO FEEL THAT THERE IS SCOPE FOR GOVT WITH OUT CORRUPTIN IN INDIA ALSO.......P.MOHANA CHANDRAN,ADVOCATE,CHENNAI

Dear all

I have similar veiws as far as d Aap party is concerned but I will appreciate d confidence restored in d party by d masses. It should not become same as congress after independence, Janta dal after J p movement . Induan masses have lot of aspirations but atleast not this time it should be cheated as earlier.

I do not share the emotional  enthusiasm with regard to the success of AAP.

There have been lot of criticisms and suspicion about the leadership  of AAP, which claimed that it collected over rupees twenty crores by way of donation from supporters. Even if so, it has not so far said how it spent it and what was the money spent on individual candidate. It has also not revealed whether its candidates were asked to bring their own money for campaigning.  Many people have   said that receiving donation from NRIs who are not eligible voters in India  is illegal and such criticism has  not been answered.

During the election campaign, there was allegation in sting operation about a member of AAP  and the CD was handed over to election commission. AAP said that the election commission has cleared it but election commission immediately issued a statement that it has not cleared it.  It is not still clear as to what is the final view of the election commission  in the matter.

There are several illegal demands made by AAP earlier such as asking the people not to pay electricity bill etc. which cannot come from a responsible outfit. There have been several criticisms about Kejriwal  not returning his dues to the Income tax department  where he served , until it was brought in  the public domain.

The country has seen so many political outfits and political leaders, who gain popularity and win votes by tall talking about   ethics , fighting against corruption etc. and finally proved to be just the opposite when they capture power.   We have heard about several disciples of Jayaprakash Narain who once fought against corruption under the leadership of J P and then became corrupt themselves when they came to power.

It is necessary to realise that people have voted for AAP as their vote against prevailing corruption in the country.  It does not automatically mean that they believe  that the people behind this party would be of Gandhian standards of probity in public and private life.

It is too early to applaud AAP and one has to keep the fingers crossed.  It still has a long long way to go to prove its credentials.
