Re: [IAC#RG] AAM AADMI PARTY’S STRANGE QUERIES

Why P.M or president required to travel from place to other , to do inauguration of a building or project, why waste the public money by travelling , now a days inauguration can be done through video conferencing ,,various travelling of P.M and president in this country are unnecessary ,, not for the benefit of the country , he is required to sit in his office and do official duty ,, he has accomodation provided at nearest location , he has to travel only on unavodiable circumstances and not for showing his face to the public , personal worship cult worship are emebbed in the mindset of our public that is why they are thinking that some few are very important and required special treatment . In supreme court and High Court one staff is required to accompany a judge , his duty is to open the door of the car ,putting gown to the shoulders of the judge, ,,, just like a king ,, we should thing why we follow this kind of system ,, if this is dispensed with what will happen .. Ultimately we have to think about dispensing with all non productive activities by using public funds ..

This a weird statement, Mr Verghese:

Silly issues like VVIP status etc will haunt aap. Imagine PM or CM moving like ordinary person wasting valuable time of theirs needed for the country.

Why is their time more valuable than mine? How do you know their net contribution to the country is greater than mine?
This is typical of a feudal mindset. And, on this issue, I completely agree with the AAP.

Do you know that PMs in the nordic countries (allegedly socialist heaven) drive their own cars to work, or even cycle to work - without any security cover? Only tinpot dictatorships have the kind of security cover that is given to our so-called VIPs/VVIPs.

I appreciate views especially of Mr Venkatraman. Tall claims are easy made. It is a hype created with promises and aam admi gets sold to it. It is not difficult to understand what need be done. Question is how to do amidst so much complications of this democracy. The tight rope walk of leaders whoever comes to power aap is yet to experience. Silly issues like VVIP status etc will haunt aap. Imagine PM or CM moving like ordinary person wasting valuable time of theirs needed for the country. Any way apna apna soch hi. But let the country not experiment with all these and go back to 20th century. But I can understand that intentions are good but come and gain some hard core experience to understand what real leadership is. Otherwise aap will vanish with in no time which is not at the interest of the country.  Verghese
