Yesterday, Indian students from Dharamshala and Ladakh along with SFT
Activists staged a strong Protest action in Dharamshala against China's
incursion in Eastern Ladakh, India.

As you might have heard, since 15th April, Chinese troops have intruded at
least 19km into DBO (Daulat Beg Oldie) in Eastern Ladakh and erected 5 tents
with soldiers stationed, ignoring repeated calls by the Indian Army to
withdraw. Three flag meetings between Indian and Chinese Armies held at
Chashul have failed to resolve the crisis peacefully. Instead, China
intensified its activity by setting up an additional tent on 29th April,
threatening India's security and humiliating the nation. Read more:

India must act immediately against the Chinese troops stationed on Indian
soil. To ensure stability in the region, India should make Tibet a core issue
in its relationship with China.

Despite 54 years of China's colonial occupation, Tibetans have not given up
their fight for freedom. The Government of India must reinforce the Tibet
issue in the upcoming talks with Chinese leaders inorder to ensure India's
security.

Your support can save India and Tibet from China's Tyranny.

Sincerely

Dorjee Tseten and everyone from SFT-India

Please - no one has to fight over 19 kms of wasteland. but what my country must do is grab 20 kms of their country in another sector and then sit down and bargain. AND what my countrymen must do is start a movement again to FREE TIBET. this peaceful nation is in many ways the fountainhead of Indian culture and is UNLAWFULLY occupied by China. We must mobilize opinion to build pressure on the Chinese to step on the backfoot.
So FREE TIBET is what disturbs China the most. And our ex PM in his wisdom gave the Chinese what they wanted the most - our agreement on their position in Tibet. Our people must reverse that..........

War with China will be disastrous to India. Our leadership at Delhi may appear to be weak, but at least in this aspect, they are right. There is a method in madness of China. India is Internally weak (due to corruption, indecisiveness, political turmoil ...) and this is the decisive factor in external issues.
