Re: [IAC#RG] The inside job

Dear Sarabjit,

Greetings.

Thanks for elucidative and clear-headed narration. Many issues have been illuminated especially about Feroz's lineage and circumstances surrounding legality of his marriage.

What remains of interest is circumstances surrounding his death, testamentary document, if any; which would state his instructions after his demise. Will often highlights family positions which otherwise is kept in privacy.

I suppose he was unwell and was taken by wife to Kashmir, where he breathed his last. How were his last rites performed and was any opinion recorded etc.

Feroz's application form for contesting election would also state some of his personal information.

Thanks anyways for the lucid narration.

best regards,

Dear Naishadh

For me the congregation is even further back than 150 years to 6 Oct 1839 (and even further back to time of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu) with formation of Tattvabodhini Sabha founded by many of my (then unrelated) ancestors.

http://www.banglapedia.org/HT/T_0089.HTM

"Its prime objective was to propagate the essence of Hindu Scriptures, including the VEDAS. In 1842 Tattvabodhini Sabha and Brahmo Samaj were united, and Tattvabodhini Sabha took over the responsibility of running the Brahmo Samaj and popularizing the Brahmo faith. The Sabha then built up a widespread movement against conversion of Indians to Christianity."

This Sabha was a totally nationalistic HINDU organisation, and the interesting thing was that it expelled one Narendranath Dutta (later known as Swami Vivekananda) for his anti-Hindu and Christian financed propaganda to reconvert back Hindus to a bastardised Hinduism which resembled Christianity.

Since I am the pracharak of the Adi Brahma Samaj of which is the Sabha was a part, I can clarify many aspects so that the "Truth" can emerge.

1) Feroze Gandhi's surname was originally GHANDHY. He was born to Parsi parents in Mumbai in Sept 1912. That he was a Parsi is not in doubt because the Parsi Community freely accepted him as one of them, and they are a very closely knit community which jealously guards its pure bloodline. His father is Jehangir (a classical Persian name common to Muslims and Parsis)  from Broach in Gujarat. After the father's death Feroze and his mother moved to Allahabad to stay with his mother's sister Dr. Shirin who was doctor in a large hospital there.

2) Due to her imperious ways (she was an introverted spoilt brat with medical problems) Indira Nehru spent quire some time at Shantiniketan (which was then the seminary of the Adi Brahmo Samaj till the Govt nationalised it as VishwaBharati due to its "terror training" camps - all the top brass of various Hindu revolutionary movements like HRA were trained there or at the other seminary in Madhya Pradesh called Brahmogram set up by another ancestor of mine in all aspects of violence) to discover God and become more religious. Life at Shantiniketan (or any Brahmo seminary) is very strict and hard for the trainees and no less than in any modern army's boot camp.

3) When Indira (A Hindu - despite all the nonsense about Motilal Nehru's father being a Muslim Kotwal of Delhi) decided to marry Feroze (a Parsi) and was adamant on marrying him, the question arose how to do it legally.  Act III of 1872 (Special Marriages Act) which was essentially an Act for the Brahmos (who were the only people meeting the requirement of being able to declare that "I am not a Hindu, Mussalman, Christian, Jew or Parsi" on oath before being married under the Act was the only lawful way for them to do it. Nehru was absolutely against his daughter declaring for purposes of Act III of 1872 that she was not a Hindu (the political damage is evident), similarly Feroze Ghandhy and his family was equally adamant that they would not declare that he was anything other than a Parsi. The Adi Brahmo Samaj refused to accept Feroze Gandhi into  Brahmoism - because Brahmoism requires at least 1 parent to be a Brahmo.

4) At this time my great-grandfather (Raj Chandra Chaudhuri) came out with the master-stroke which save Mr. Nehru. Being from the Punjab and closely connected with a branch of the Adi Brahmo Samaj movement there known as the Arya Samaj, he suggested that they get married under the newly passed law for scheduled caste Hindu reconverts to Hinduism from Christianity known as the "Arya Marriage Validation Act 1939". Since he had drafted this law he knew of the essential clause therein which he had inserted which said an Arya Marriage was deemed to be valid notwithstanding that the parties were not Hindus either BEFORE or AFTER the marriage.

5) So the ARYA SAMAJ marriage (the Nehru-Gandhis now call it as "performed by Vedic rites") was conducted at Anand Bhawan Allahabad. Both sides were extremely annoyed with their children's decision to get married outside the religion by this religious farce. The Arya Samaj/Brahmo Samaj were extremely upset that this political farce was being conducted by misusing their laws. Anyway it all went off without any legal challenge. Feroze Ghandhy had to undergo a process of "Shuddhikaran" (ingesting cow excreta and other prescribed Hindu rituals) and was renamed as Feroze Gandhi (at Nehru's suggestion - not Mohandas Gandhi's)  and the Congress propaganda machine went to town by misleading people that Feroze Gandhi was a Hindu related to Mohandas Gandhi.

6) Ever since that day the Nehru Gandhi clan has married Christians and non-Hindus by claiming to be casteless Hindus - which they may well be (and what is unpardonable by pretending to be Brahmins - for which they will all roast in hell) to marry under the Arya Marriage Validation Act. Mr Nehru was so farsighted that he refused to repeal the Arya Marriage Validation Act when the Hindu Marriage Act 1956 was passed.

Once the Special Marriages Act of 1955 came into force they began registering their Arya Samaj mariages under the second mode of that Act (Which Mr. Nehru had written just for them).

Hope this clarifies many things for you, so that the authentic TRUTH is known.

Dear Sarabjit,

Thanks for a lucid compilation on Feroz. It made a very interesting read.
The observations made therein are quite pregnant and uncanny.

What is needed is certain facts/records of Feroz to build a profile of a person whose own family is making herculean efforts to make him unmemorable. Feroz was MP. He traveled  internationally before and after independence.

IAC is a congregation of 150 years of wisdom. And you are a champion RTIist.

True profile building of such a crusader may not be obfuscated just because a few family members' inconvenience shrouds the national record keeping.

Feroz as a person must have:
  • Birth certificate (Evidence of Birth)
  • Passport
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Marriage registration certificate (Hindu/Special Marriage Act was enacted later)
  • Travel history at Govt. Expense
  • Illness and hospitalisation records.
  • Death registration certificate
  • Will
  • Medical Examiner Record
  • Application for contesting election
  • Taking oath under Parsi faith in MP ceremony
  • His allegiance to a certain Parsi Agiyaari frequented by his parents.
  • Profile of his parents. etc.

It would be interesting how a crusader against corruption is researched and recorded.
