Re: [IAC#RG] India Broke

I, for one am quite delighted India is going broke. The only way the political-corporate-media mafia is going to be defeated is when there is nothing to loot and they end up cannibalizing each other.

The current level of brainwash is such that people have little concept of what is truly helping them, what isn't and *all* the choices are based on information fed through the media.

Nonsense cliches about Communists, Socialists, Capitalism (as the supreme god of all things good), even rights. There is little examination of what is really happening except the rights of the loudest guys are seen as the real deal. What little examination is there, assumes that existing choices that didn't work is all we have, and they get evaluated based on what media has programmed as acceptable or not.

Witness the reporting of the Novartis case. Almost all international media hailed it as a landmark decision, etc spoke of advantages for health around the world because of our medicines. Indian media overwhelmingly was in mourning over the Novartis-fed crap about setback to innovation and damaged investment climate.

I have come to the belief that till things collapse to the point where media whitewash and brainwash no longer makes sense, we will not be able to start recovering.

So in my eyes, if we go broke, it is a great thing. In ways other than money, we are broke anyway. Education, health, energy... you name it. There are scams, corruption and rampant appropriation of national assets everywhere. So I fail to see what's the big deal with the money broke.

Yeah, I know this sounds pessimistic.

I'm okay with not being famous as a ray of sunshine.
