Re: [IAC#RG] The ONE issue for the IAC movement.

Absolutes are easy to shovel out. Would be more useful to provide the logic for reaching this series of incredible conclusions. Secondly, India is socialist on paper. Not on the ground. So you can hardly blame the state of India on socialism while elites and corporates are consistently the ones with the strings firmly in their hand. If anything, the current state is a direct reflection on the World Bank engineered neo-liberalization - that (unsurprisingly) was designed to help US banks and corporations exploit our market.

The World Bank notched this up to epidemic levels post 91 bailout. The day we stop holding US economy afloat with constant purchases (soon FDI), we will be back to the pre liberalization dog house of Pakistan being the US golden child and virtually patted benevolently as it nips at our heels. The corruption of our banks and corporations is the happy side effect (for them) - we can hardly have one set of policies and another and keep switching. Fact of the matter is that for every welfare scam, there are a hundred in fudged permissions, "managed" contracts, incestuous relationships with media and politics, evaded taxes, faked promotions, engineered benevolence at public cost and more in the corporate world.

Funny how corporate puppets spot the needle better than the haystack.

So long confused and rudderless Socialism stays in India, corruption can not be avoided.

So far, what we know shows that while what the sneerers call licence permit raj throttled the potential of those with money, fact of the matter is that the neo-liberalization since 91 has marked a decay on almost every front except "paisa". And in fact the decay in the paisa is what has people yelling corruption. The great media promoted myth is that politicians alone are corrupt. In every istance it is corporate India in its myriad forms that have used them as puppets for profits for itself.

The corruption you see in politics has corporations and banks pulling strings - which has been facilitated by capitalism. You can talk of corrupt leaders, but the fact is that there is disproportionate and increasing power with the paisa lobby. you can file an RTI with govt, not corporations - who increasingly own your water and electricity - for example.

Say goodbye
to socialism by throwing this outdated ideology in dustbin and bring liberalism, swaraj and freedom, corruption will start vanishing in India.

There is absolutely no evidence for this dikkat to actually work anywhere at all.

Socialism encourages corrupt bureaucracy of outdated colonial model (spineless, insensitive and partial) which implement policies like leaking subsidies through corrupt methods and means.

Erm... I thought that was capitalism. People needed far less rescue before the plague of "adjustments". Today, your handouts in the name of the poor are eaten largely by the elite and capitalists. They aren't going to get a personality transplant under whatever you are prescribing.

Unfortuantely IAC movement of Kejriwal, Sarbajitroy, AAAM party and  their followers encouarge Socialism and they expect Corruption to vanish. It will never happen.

Bring more evidence for the "It will never happen" or stop peddling conclusions here. I have not seen socialism harm many beyond the elite, and I have not seen capitalism harm many beyond the elite. I see no reason to run a country to facilitate the already powerful.

Socialism encourages Politics as dirty mafia garbage (kachra) politics where criminal element takes over governance.

Brainwash. Politics is always dirty where people are subservient and don't question much. However, almost every major scam has the name of a corporation attached profiteering from it. You will not find your unwashed masses doing such unpatriotic things. I find your comment offensive to India at large.

Only hope is Baba Ramdev who wants to bring corruption free non socialist governance in India. he wants politics to become as the noblest Endeavour based on honesty, transparency and ethics.

Socialism kills all honest welfare movements.

Tell that to the Libyans, where the democracy exported by US (with the help of surviving corrupt capitalists in Libya) recently killed the sort of welfare systems US itself cannot dream of. Was there corruption? No clue, but it damn sure beats not having welfare. Here is the Wikipedia link (which evidence based content people argue over and agree on) a more emotional one by someone clearly mourning him after he was killed, a deeper look at governance at Counter Currents (you probably call this an evil leftist site, so skip if you want) and Gaddafi's speech in the UN (2009) which probably wrote his death warrant considering the wealth he controlled and his non-bootlicking of capitalism. While you are at it,  do you know communist ruled Nepal went ahead of us on the Human Development index?

Socialsim has killed even noble Gandhian ideas of good governance. Gandhi name is enough for perpetuation of democratic Monarchy of a dynasty which has nothing to do with noble and divine Mahatma Gandhi.
