Friends All at Indiaresists//IAC,

IF all our efforts from the Indian side, in 70 years have made no difference, in fact, it appears, J&K has become a "NASUR" that keeps testing our ability to rule India, itself--a question arises, IS THE PROBLEM INSOLVABLE ?  

Or, is there some unknown strength of "religious fervour" that is out to test all the "heathens" from any other religious communities or States, and have its way, come what may ?

It would seem so, how ISIS today is out to tie up the most powerful nations on the run, regardless of the calamities they may be facing, right now, no ?    
IF an adage "TO CONVERT" and make all of the world Islamic...come what may, is there any answer or any solution viable ?  

In modern times, 70 years is not a short time to realize that the problem is beyond us, ALL, no ? 
One has never heard of, nor seen a solution put on-the-ground, ever by any Power or a fledgling nation where Islamic fringe elements are concerned.

1) Congrats for the new layout of TheCitizen.

2) Found another great read, confirming what many us have known for months now.

3) Because Pakistan are masters at extracting by  negotiation what they cannot achieve through warfare, PM Modi would be wise not to engage with them diplomatically.

4) Because unfortunately our PM is from Gujarat where massive and vital industrial complexes are being foolishly concentrated to suit a few crony capitalists, the Pakis know they can now yank our chain with impunity and all the talk of Sindhustan is so much guff to feed our lumpens with.

5) Because Doval''s tall promise ('joomla') to eliminate / bring back Dawood and Hafeez Saeed within the year is exposed, it seems the only head rolling will be Namo's in 2019 (or earlier).

I agree wholeheartedly with what Vijay has so succinctly articulated.

Firstly, we are repeatedly making ourselves look incapable when we make the familiar jingoistic statements and then proceed to do nothing, except spew venom on Times Now and on the ramparts as well as the print media. 

Armchair tin soldiers who have not faced the reality and heat of battle can keep fighting for TRPs on electronic media -  that will at best galvanise public opinion but won't solve the problem.

We have to hit at a time and place of our choosing - and that is best left to deep strategic thought - not whatever has been on offer recently. It smacks of stale impotence and failure. Perhaps, we need to tap in to thought beyond that of the policemen turned strategists.
