Re: [IAC#RG] NARENDRA MODI’S TWO DISMAL YEARS AS PM

Please agree that P M has not been allowed to perform adequately for bringing "Achhe Din".  He gave a long rope to corrupt politicians and their leaders awaiting their support and cooperation in launching schemes for the benefit of common man.  But when they failed him continuously and vigorously for 2 years, he has no option but to come down heavily on them and this is evident from the opening/reopening of UPA durbar issues.
Are swach bharat, make in india etc. are not good for the nation? Why opposition is opposing even Yoga day proposition?

I earnestly request those criticizing the present government, to inquest the situations for more than 5 decades in the county. You gave the corrupt ones 6 decades and for the new government not even 5 years to judge.

Trust me I do not favor any political party nor have strong likes/dislikes for any politicians.  We should always support persons with intentions to improve the situation in the country.

Re: [IAC#RG] NARENDRA MODI’S TWO DISMAL YEARS AS PM

DEAR  VASANT SARDESAI JI

Those who criticise Narendra Modi's leadership must go back 60 years of history with Wars with Pakistan, scams, loot, nepotism, murders, and what not and compare Modi ji's two years of administration.
English Media is paid media and it will take time for them to change. Once the payment stops things will change. Western English media too is not so friendly to India and Modi Ji in particular. Western English is not so crude and is very diplomatic when they say any thing about India and Modi Ji for sure.
Vigilance is the name of the game.

Re: [IAC#RG] NARENDRA MODI’S TWO DISMAL YEARS AS PM

There are many who feel Modi has done more in 2 years than Congress did as UPA 1 and 2.

There is no remote controlled Govt. of MMS.

There are no scams tumbling out every other day.

No democratic institution has been undermined-Parliament or Judiciary.

Uttrakhand is congress creation. If Bahuguna had been made CM after the last state elections, there would have been no rebels

Freedom of speech is subject to reasonable restrictions as the Supreme Court has recently held on defamation.

Re: [IAC#RG] NARENDRA MODI’S TWO DISMAL YEARS AS PM

Dear Sir, I am of the opinion that it is almost impossible to move the bureaucracy. Unless they are toppled the nation would never move ahead. Politicians are just pawns in their hands and they manipulate them with ease. The IAS has to be replaced by respective cadres in the respective ministries e.g Medical experts for Health Ministry, Rail experts for Rail Ministry, Defence Uniformed personnel for Defence Ministry, Shipping experts for Shipping Ministry, Financial wizards for the Finance ministry, Police chiefs for Home Ministry etc etc.

Unless the above is achieved, a politician can do nothing, even if he happens to be Narendra Modi. Modi thought he could handle them in 50 months but they proved smarter. Maybe he needs more time to de worm the nation of bureaucrats.

Regards,

Re: [IAC#RG] COURTS NEED TO CURTAIL HOLIDAYS TO COMBAT THE HUGE PENDENCY

Dear Rodrigues,
Most of the Judicial officers right from a Magistrate to the CJI are very much in favour of continuing the Colonial legacy. They may speak about the radical changes to be brought about in the Judicial Set Up . But, invariably helps and abets the rotten practice that is continuing since the Colonial era.   'Charity must begin at
Home' . Present CJI is much  harping upon the ' Non Co- Operation' at the hands of the Govt. Why should wait for the Govt. It is all lame excuses. The judicial officials , after the implementation of 'SHETTY COMMISSION' are decently paid. But, unfortunately, many of these judges work only in signing the records and receive the 'Fat Pay Packet' every month non commensurate with the work they have put in. As an Advocate, an Officer of the  Court, I  have many instances to point out, but refrain myself from divulging . OK. Rest in Next.

On Thursday, 5 May 2016, Aires Rodrigues <airesrodrigues1@gmail.com> wrote:

The  move by the Allahabad High Court to curtail its summer vacation is a step in the right direction. Infact the Supreme Court which currently functions for less than nine months a year should have taken the lead to increase its court working days so that it could have been also replicated by all Courts across the country to being down the current enormous pendency of cases.

The mountain of pile up of cases is indeed a matter of immense concern. Over three crore cases in trial Courts, a whopping 41 lakh in the 24 High Courts and a mind boggling over 60,000 in the Supreme Court is no easy task to grapple with.

The concept of evening and night Courts is impractical and having been tried in some states has miserably failed. Infact reducing the number of court holidays may be the way to go. Optimizing the working of the Courts during the day must be the thrust by possibly even increasing the Court working hours by an hour or two.  But for all this to happen only persons with sound knowledge of law and impeccable integrity must be selected as Judges at all levels of the Judiciary.
