N S Venkataraman Ji
You quote *Swami Vivekananda ji in the stormy battles of corruption India has faced, over decades. It has been the handiwork of those who know better, and are NOT "down and out". In fact, it has been the other way around. We are dealing with millionaires wanting to become billionaires and so on.
*Swami Vivekananda said "Give me 100 energetic young men and I shall transform India". (It ought to have read "young men & women")
That possibly was at a time when Indians were around 150 million, no more. Today we are 1.23 billion. Even if there are lacs of good, honest
Indians, the governance we are all a part of at the Centre or the States i doubt if it is run cum supervised by more than 15 to 20 thousand !
While matters had gone bad to worse in 2009 to mid 2014, the recent throw-ups (Vyapam/ MP, Rajasthan CM- issues, Anil Modigate) in the past 6 months and tom-tommed by the ones who believe , they came to rule us perennially, demonstrate the sick society we have become.
Solutions will take a few years, IF the adage " Na Khaunga Ga Na Khane Doon Ga" is applied regardless who is involved.
And not let justice go haywire beyond 24-36 months. Period.
May be then, after tests/retests -- we may be able to say we are honest from election time through governance and the next election.
Otherwise, we will continue to live from one harboured smokescreen the next one !
