1) We should accept that corruption is a reality which cannot be eradicated.

2) We should strive to be pure, devout and honest ourselves.

3) We should question everyone and everything.

4)  We should strive to be so perfect that every lower Truthseeker must learn from us. Similarly we should l;earn from more advanced/evolved Truthseekers.

What I am saying above is not my own views, but from the Bhagvad Gita and the Oopanishads,

Re: [HumJanenge] Open Letter to Mr Venkatesh Nayak/ Co-Convenor NCPRI

DoPT is only interested in NGOs because they want only yes men (and women).

Please do a google search for each of the names on the Sec 4 task force using the key words:

"+Section 4+RTI+XXXXX"

(Without inverted commas and XXX stannds for the name.

You will get your answer.

Also search for decisions related to Sec 4 on the CIC website. See how many of those names on the task force have ever reached CIC on Sec 4 matters.

One member - Mrs Rama Devi from AP - has not even been able to implement Sec 4 in her own department. How is she expected to make recommendations for the whole country ?

Mr. Roy you are right , Can we ask the Dopt how much money already released to the above NGO'S for the Last 5 years , Since the Above NGO's are acting like mouth piece of DOPT , Their suggestions only considered , Individuals and some of Activists who gave the suggestions to DOPT free of cost is not considered , It seemsv may be lobby and  lot of corruption in DOPT it self

Re: [HumJanenge] An Open Letter for the Flag Bearers of Anti-Corruption Movement

Dear Mukund

As you know the original texts of our ancient scriptures are not available to anyone. Nor are there any authentic or universally acceptable copies. I am relying upon the versions used by Rammohun Roy (and later with modifications by Ramakrishna Paramhans, Swami Vivekananda etc) - these are quite different from the versions generally used by persons outside Bengal so I do not want to be in any controversy on this score.

You may refer to your own versions and extract what I have said.

I want to ask few questions to the author of the article.

Have you agitated against the corruption ever in your life?? What I say why you do not publish such good profiles of the congress head Sonia Gandhi or the least write about the Mr. Sharad pawar. Do you know what are the numbers of zeros in the 1.5 lakhs crores????

What are the common person does when asked for a bribe by the corrupted officials? Why there is such a rise in the taxation by the government?

I say even if these three people are corrupted, then also they have the balls to question the government for the its incumbency against the fight against the corruption.

Please if you cannot do anything good against the corruption, kindly do not post mail which may try to demotivate the  common man.

I say we all should participate in the Crusade or Jehad against the corruption in India.

This was the reason why people have been agitated enough to come out and participate along with the fasting of Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev. Common citizens joined the civil society's movement against corruption. Such a wide scale mobilization reminds the JP movement of the late 1970s, which nonetheless later impacted the secular fabric of the nation by giving birth to a divisive and radical Hindutva movement. This must serve as a reminder whether the current movement has anything hidden to give birth at a later stage.
Some of the key actors who are involved in this movement have dubious pasts. Whether it is the Anna or especially the Baba, they cannot avoid the questions related to their team members and their real intention behind supporting the movement.  There is an urgent need to ask a few questions to understand their stand point and motives.

Dear Chitta

I congratulate you for refraining from posting non-RTI related emails to this group. I sincerely hope that everyone is as disciplined as yourself and the others you mentioned.

Unfortunately, Mr C.J.Karira & some of our regular posters had requested the date to be extended by a month - to which the Moderators reluctantly agreed.

However, we have unsubscribed a few members who were going beyond all limits and engaging in partisan propaganda on this group.

I request you to be patient for a few weeks more, as we don't want to lose such valued members like yourself.

Warmly

Sarbajit

Re: [HumJanenge] An Open Letter for the Flag Bearers of Anti-Corruption Movement

Sarbajit

I ask Mr Sahil should we accept the corruption as a way of life.
If not, what is his concrete plan to root it out, except criticizing the citizens who r trying to fight it.

What is Sahil's contribution to the society?.

If this movement if defeted now, there will be a day when the persons like Afroz may be complaining against corruption and other evils and no body will be there to help them.

Kudos for those who r fighting the corruption even staking their comforts and risking their lives too.

Regards,
Hemant Kshirsagar

Afroz Alam Sahil, BeyondHeadlines

The nation-wide movement against corruption and black money seems to have woken up the common masses from their deep slumber. Corruption has deeply entrenched the Indian nation as evident in the recent scams of 2G Spectrum, Commonwealth Games and the Adarsh Housing Society.

What is corruption for Mr. Anna Hazare? Is it just financial irregularities?..................................................................................................................................................
