Re: [IAC#RG] Fwd: BREAKING NEWS: Delhi Govt. on strike, imminent arrests possible.

Listen to Royji. The reality is the AAP leadership has lost their way and no longer are the activists. Only voices of some very few honest activist who want nothing from AAP can penetrate their thick skulls.

eg. On 14th October AAP says that tax exemption will be given to Anna biopic movie. On 15th Royji writes to Kejriwal objecting, and immediately the tax exemption proposal is dropped  Arvind Kejriwal snubs Anna biopic makers

eg: Today at 12 noon Royji writes that BJP does not represent Hindus and is a 'bania' party driven by greed and ambition. Three hours later Arvind Kejriwal says "The reality is that the BJP is not the party of Hindus but of money and power hungry people."

eg: Today IAC exposes AAP plan to shut down Delhi Government website to suppress and delay inconvenient notifications and orders easily reaching Shunglu Committee. Within 4 hours IAC compelled the website to be restored by AAP.

The AAP is the government in power in Delhi and BJP at Centre, the RTI activists like you should stay away from all the corrupt parties and act as watchdogs of democracy

As per reports reaching from our sources, Delhi government has gone on "strike".

Under investigation by Shunglu Committee and since many files and notifications are available on its website to Shunglu Committee, Delhi's IT minister Manish Sisodia has illegally ordered that the entire Delhi Govt website is shut down under pretext of maintenance. This is the state of affairs after Sisodia was quizzed by ACB for over 3 hours and held a press conference soon afterwards.

Re: [IAC#RG] Law Commission seeks inputs on UCC

Dear Dr. Elangbam

I thank you for your spirited email asking for UCC which I had forwarded to my seniors. Please see the bolded words below in context.

Since my movement is inclined to oppose UCC I am sharing some inputs for you.

1) My movement is historically (for over 200 years) and publicly in favour of propagation of "HINDUTVA" in India and the world.

2) My movement is historically (for over 200 years) and publicly in favour of Unified India, ie. AKHAND HINDUSTAN stretching from Burma to Afghanistan and from whole of Indian Ocean to Sri Lanka, Tibet and beyond Arunachal Pradesh as a living space for Hindus and Hindu cuture.

3) That we do not support the RSS (Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh) who no doubt posture as defenders of Hinduism, but had sold out their movement to USA sometime in the late 1930s after Dr. Hedgewar's ill heath. The RSS does not at all represent Hindus today but only a tiny section of Hindus called "banias" who are corrupting the nation in name of Hindutva for their personal profit/ gain.

4) That my movement has studied foreign / alien religions for many centuries and know well their devilish ways and tricks to render Hindus impotent.

5) My movement especially views the UCC as a fiendish foreign device (trick) to convert India into a nation of sheep and make us into impotent "peaceniks" ever content to stay confined within some arbitrary drawn territorial borders no Hindu patriot would accept. Islam and Hinduism both had clearly understood why polygamy is an option to be retained in any martial society.

6) That silent majority of Hindus are as equally against UCC being imposed on them as Muslims are.

Sincerely

Sarbajit Roy

Dear All,

We must support UCC and give reasons in absolute terms.
This country will go to dogs, ungovernable in future and the very existence will be at stake.
May we may antagonize a sizable section of the population, never mind,  even amongst them there are a great silent majority, who wish to express their mind and raise their voice but just because of the same fear of the fundamentalist, they are forced to be quite.
Let us rise above politics and all other issues for the sake of the nation; we should submit an unanimous view of approval to establish UCC.

Re: [IAC#RG] Law Commission seeks inputs on UCC

Dear Sir,

Good AN and thanks for your unending initiatives for betterment of the country and fight against corruption.

Well - my belief in your line of action has multiplied many fold when I am seeing Delhi CM and his doings today, whom I supported vehemently during agitation days and you predicted about his real DNA long back. Great Sir.

As far as UCC, I am of the view that opposing it ab intio may not be good. This initiative may not be the best option available but under present eco system - there seems to be no better option either.

Regards.

At the outset, IAC had received about 800+ emails on this topic, which we were unable to circulate because of our list limitations. Of these the vast majority (>90%) are of the view that UCC be made compulsory and the specified practices be regulated / prohibited.

A similarly widespread exercise was also conducted at grass roots (non-urban intellectual) level among the affected populations, including tribals, by Hindustan Republican Army which presents quite the opposite view.

Since this clearly indicates attempts to polarise the population into "Hindus" versus "others" - elections in some states are not far away - and considering the background of the present Chairman Law Commission who has clearly drafted the questionnaire in a biased and polarising manner, IAC and HRA have jointly decided that to defend the customary way of life, including Hindu caste system of superior Hindus (eg that Brahmins are entitled to 4 wives, Kshatriyas entitled to 3 wives, Vaishyas/Baidyas entitled to 2 wives etc.) and the rights of tribals and indigenous people (who constitute over 30% of India's voting citizens and are not Hindus in law - no matter what ilk of Dr. Sunramaniam Swamy claim) both IAC and HRA are (draft) circulating as follows:-

1) That India Against Corruption opposes the Uniform Civil Code until such time as

a) All personal laws are abolished,

b) Legal definition of "Hindu" (as person not Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Jew etc) contained in the Hindu Code (Hindu codified laws of 1954-1956 era) is deleted from all statute books, (NB: "Hindu" is a foreign term),

c) Any other matters the IAC subscribers propose and resolve

NB: This is only a draft proposal circulated for discussion, and those responding are requested to make reasoned / legalistic / non-emotional arguments with citations.
