The preliminary information status with IAC is as follows.

1) That on or about 26th June 2015 the Joint Charity Commissioner at Pune sent notice to about 20 trusts under him, including Shri Anna Hazare's Trust the "Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan Nyas (BVJAN)", based in Ralegan Siddhi asking them to drop the term "corruption" from their trust's name. The fact that this referred to the BVJAN was duly reported in national press at the time

2) Shortly thereafter Shri Anna Hazare was interviewed by the news agency ANI video news channel which was circulated to many media houses. The video clearly has Shri Hazare speaking in Hindi and refusing to drop the term "corruption" from his trust. No reference is made anywhere in the ANI video itself to "India Against Corruption".

However, it seems the accompanying text / title circulated by ANI news agency said "Anna Hazare Not Willing to Remove The Name Corruption from IAC" and "Social activist Anna Hazare has been asked to remove corruption from the name of his NGO India Against Corruption. However Anna is not willing to do so.", "Ralegan Siddhi, June 26 (ANI): India Against Corruption, the non-governmental organisation led by anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare expressed its discontentment at a state notice asking it to remove the word 'corruption' from its title."

3) That faced with Shri Hazare's refusal, the Joint Charity Commissioner Pune, Shri Shivkumar Dige, around 7.January 2016 has suspended Shri Anna Hazare and other trustees of the non-governmental organization (NGO), Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan, for not dropping the word "anti-corruption" from its name, and Shri Hazare was without any anti-corrution body/ platform.
4) You will recall that previously on Jan 18 2013, Shri Anna Hazare had publicly communicated to the world (Evidence: several press reports accessible using google search) that he would henceforth not use the name "India Against Corruption", close his offices and bank accounts etc. which Ms. Kiran Bedi had commenced.

a) It is noteworthy that on August 09, 2013, Shri Hazare's BVJA Ralegan office, in an email to this IAC subscriber mailing list, subject "Corruption in recruitment of Assistant Professor at Jiwaji University" sent from their regular email ID "B V J Andolan <bvjralegan@gmail.com>", the evidence copy of which will be available to everyone here in their email inbox, had said BVJA was no longer taking up complaints of corruption and fraud at a social level (also advising inter-alia the fraud/corruption victims to go on 'fast').

5) That on 6th September, I came to know that the Chairperson of the NCW had appeared on Shri Arnab Goswami's show on Times Television to say that the NCW' had taken cognisance of against AAPs Ashutosh based on my online complaint to her

NB: This list knows that I had first given Arvind Kejriwal, Mr. Manish Sisodia every chance to discipline Mr. Ashutosh and retract the AAP's defensive statement impugning my great-grand aunt Smt. Sarala Debi Chaudhurani (a noted feminist icon of India).

6) After reviewing the full video of the TImes TV show of 6.9.2016. I was shocked to see some people appearing there claiming to be IAC members who were making all kinds of rash statements against the Aam Aadmi Party consequent to Shri Anna Hazare's video news statement given earlier the same day. It is clear Shri Hazare had issued the statement in his own personal capacity as an "anti-corruption crusader" and certainly not as any representive / leader of IAC.
7) After seeing the extremely serious (and still unsubtantiated) allegation of financial corruption which some persons impersonating at IAC members were making against Aam Aadmi Party on national television, I was caused to make an unprecedented (for me) appearance on Arnab's show on 16.September 2016 and only after Times TV had fully satisfied themselves about my title of  "National Convenor, India Against Corruption" to convey that IAC is a strictly non-political movement only interested.in public accountability and good governance irrespective of political shenanigans.

8) It seems that some disgruntled / expelled AAM party workers (who we can easily establish are BJP agent provocateurs very close to Ms.Kiran Bedi) had latched onto the mischievous reporting by the English language media's mistranslating Shri Anna Hazare and who visited Ralegan Siddhi (on 12 or 13.Sept.2016) to deceive Shri Hazare that they were India Against Corruption volunteers and seeking his blessing for their website. Our sources indicate that this visit was instigated through Anna's trusted aide Shri Datta Awari who (as per media reports) was actually the person behind the.ANNA SMS card scheme of 9 April 2012 (which SMS scheme Anna later bizarrely blamed Arvind for stealing Rs.100 crores through it).

9) That whereas IAC has consistently accorded due respect to eminent persons associated in some way or other with IAC (incl. Mr. Hazare), this constant problem of Shri Anna Hazare's ''antics' caused
a) by Mr. Hazare seemingly being surrounded by blackmailers and scammers,
b) his apparently simpleton nature,
c) his illiteracy (at least in English),
d) his constant desire for self promotion and publicity, etc.
has caused my seniors to consider taking very serious steps against Shri Hazare personally on this occassion to defend IAC's spotless name and banner.

Lastly, Sir, you are also aware that eminent persons like Shri Shanti Bhushan-ji, Shri Subramaniam Swamy were specially permitted (with full respect) to regularly use this list despite their being in active politics and Shri Hazare is still also accorded the same courtesy / respect by us as a self professed non-political activist against corruption present in IAC's timeline.

PS: I have not detailed our evidence against the ex-AAP persons involved as it is a matter between leadership of AAP and IAC.

The views / guidance are solicited accordingly.

Dear Pranab da

I expect that you are referring to our usage of the terms "corrupt"
and "antics" to describe Shri Anna Hazare's recent behaviour for the
benefit of the India Against Corruption mailing list subscribers.

Let me set the record straight

CORRUPTION:
1) Shri Anna Hazare was a person with a proven record of corruption
who Arvind (through his PCRF Trust member Kiran Bedi) took along with
him for filing a so-called FIR in name of "People's War Against
Corruption" at Parliament Street Police Station on 14.Nov.2010. This
is a matter of record in the Justice Sawant enquiry commission report.

2) The said enquiry report (Justice Sawant is a retired and respected
Supreme Court Judge from Maharashtra whose Commission was appointed
under the Commission of Enquiry Act, and Shri Anna Hazare had every
opportunity to present his case before him) severly indicts Shri
Hazare of corruption.

3) Not only did Justice Sawant find acts of financial misappropriation
of his trust funds committed by Shri Hazare, but Hazare was strongly
castigated by Justice Swant for the mode and manner in which he
systematically sets about tarnishing peoples reputations by hurling
false corruption charges at his victims at strategic moments in their
life and careers so that the blackmailers in particular take advantage
of such situation.

4) So whenever India Against Corruption receives definite information
that Shri Hazare is breaching his publicly given assurances to India
Against Corruption not to conduct any of his so-called anti-corruption
camapigns under IAC's names and banner we are definitely going to warn
and caution our members regularly (and as many times as necessary)
about Mr. Hazare's past track record of associating with all kinds of
exploitative persons.

5) Since you have asked for evidence, we are soon activating an
information website exclusively for fully informing members of INDIA
AGAINST CORRUPTION. This is at
http://www.indiaagainstcorruption.info

We shall be uploading all the information, starting with Justice
Sawant Commission's report, very soon so that our members can
appreciate for themselves the self-admitted mechanics of Mr. Hazare's
so-called anti-corruption andolan which Justice Sawant exposed in
graphic detail.

6) If required, and since Mr. Hazare believes he still has some
association with IAC, we may also issue a charge sheet to Shri Anna
Hazare, to account for his recent actions and associations with
dubious persons who are/were members of Aam Aadmi Party and a
breakaway faction of AAM known as AVAM (AAP Volunteers Manch) who
indulged in forgery and photo-shopping to defame certain AAP
candidates at time of their election.

7) Equally, we ourselves have all the rights and evidences to lodge
criminal cases for cheating, fraud, cyber crime and other deceits /
impersonations etc. against Shri Hazare.

For eg. I would certainly like to know the mechanics of the so-called
Anna phone SIM card scheme which Arvind and/or Anna engineered to dupe
gullible persons of their monies and
who benefitted from it. I am sure that Shri Hazare would be knowing
all the persons behind that fraud committed in his name by using his
photo/s and done with his full knowledge and blessings and which is
still tarnishing IAC's name in Delhi through an onging complaint the
victims have filed.

Lastly, IAC is and shall remain, a non-political peoples movement. We
shall firmly intervene to ensure that IAC's name and banner is not
misued for political activity or black-mailing any where in India.

Dear IAC members

There is an update / correction which IAC wishes to make concerning this subject.

I have been informed that the offending video/s of Shri Anna Hazare were actually uploaded to a deceptively named Facebook page "indiancor" (recently opened on or about 6 August 2016) and not to the Facebook "indiacor" page managed by Shivendra Singh Chauhan (who later joined M/s Reliance Industries).

Accordingly, IAC expunges (with sincere regret to all concerned) the earlier statements (made afew hours ago) concerning involvement of Mr. Mukesh Ambani's corporates / RIL employees in the recent actions by Shri Anna Hazare. IAC was deceived and it was an honest error on our part.

Accordingly, it seems that the cornered BJP (along with some of Mr. Mukesh Ambani's employees) have once again propped up Shri Anna Hazare to "reclaim" the name of "India Against Corruption" and every day paid news reports are now being planted to say
a) that Anna Hazare founded India Against Corruption,
b) that Arvind Kejriwal was Anna's junior, Anna's student etc. etc.

It is thus necessary to reiterate some salient facts in the matter:-

1) The present India Against Corruption people's movement (jan andolan) was publicly founded on 26 February 2007 at New Delhi to expose Common Wealth Games scams. That whereas Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and Mr. Manish Sisodia were then very much also members of IAC but Mr. Anna Hazare was nowhere in the picture. Subsequently Arvind and Manish dropped out of active IAC work and the IAC andolan was taken forward by me, Veeresh and other leading RTI activists of India.

2) That in 2010 (when Arvind was essentially unemployed), India Against Corruption engaged (against payment) Mr. Kejriwal's trust PCRF (now amalgamated within Aam Aadmi Party) to carry out an IAC 'campaign' to expose/publicise CommonWealth Games scams (since we are ourselves selfless and silent anti-corruption workers who avoid media).

NB: Although the PCRF audited books / balance sheets clearly record all these facts, Mr. Anna Hazare's contribution / role to the IAC campaign is not mentioned in PCRF statutory / audited filings.

3) That in 2010 Arvind had represented to us that PCRF was a trust comprising himself, Manish and a journalist Abhinandan Sekhri (who although not an IAC member we had no objection to). We later came to know that Mr. Prashant Bhushan and Ms. Kiran Bedi were also PCRF trust members, a fact which was suppressed to us, and which we strongly objected to later when these 2 persons brought in all sorts of undesirable persons (Sri Sri Ravishankar, Swami Agnivesh, Medha Patkar etc.) into IAC's CWG campaign and induced Arvind to conflate IAC's CWG campaign with a diversionary World Bank sponsored demand  for Jan Lokpal Act.

4) That Arvind also secretly teamed up with Baba Ramdev who actually engaged Shri Anna Hazare as an actor in the IAC campaign to register a so-called FIR on Commonwealth Games scams at the Parliament Street Police Station on 14.Nov.2010.

a) That Shri Anna Hazare did not participate in the IAC CWG campaign out of any social obligations, but he was throughout a paid actor who was very well rewarded by cash payments and other kinds, initially through Mr. S.K.Tijarawala of Patanjali corporate group, and thereafter by persons closely associated with political / corporate formations - Shri Santosh Bhartiya, Shri Shivendra Chauhan (Corporate Vice-President Reliance Industries Ltd), General V.K.Singh (BJP MP), a Mr. Sunil Lal (former AAP founder member who we are infomed was embedded within AAP by a Reliance linked former Congress MP from Unnao whom Arvind had accused of HSBC havala in Nov. 2012), Ms. Kiran Bedi of the BJP, the Trehan family of Delhi, etc.

b) That on 6 February 2011 Arvind and Manish privately agreed with us that IAC's name would not be used in connection with the simultaneous Jan Lokpal / Black money return campaigns for which Anna Hazare had been engaged by Baba Ramdev's Patanjali empire.

5) This is not the first time we have had to caution Mr. Hazare but he is so incorrigible and easily influenced by the RSS fellow travellers in his 'durbar' who are sponging off him that Anna is now proving to be a public embarrassment to the anti-corruption movement which IAC spearheads.
So far we have been very polite and tolerant towards Mr. Hazare considering his advanced years but there is a limit to our tolerance.

6) Accordingly, it is now and henceforth the official position of India Against Corruption that Shri Anna Hazare is an egoistic person of advanced years who is easily manipulated by the very forces of corruption which INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION is exposing.

7) In short, should Mr. Anna Hazare continue on the path he has set out on by misusing IAC's name, marks and goodwill for political purposes (directly or indirectly), he will also find that he (and also every friend of his) is automatically an enemy of India Against Corruption's HQ and they shall pick and choose the time they will extract their satisfaction and honour.

As we shall not do proceed without consulting the larger IAC subscriber base, I request everyone to kindly share your views on this unpleasant situation which Mr. Hazare is creating.
