[HumJanenge] Re: [HumJanenge-YG] FLASH:Going on NDTV : Privacy vs Disclosure
This is with reference to both your posts below AND with ref to our discussions.at the CIC's recent RTI convention.
1) I really don't know why you STILL continue to function as Aruna Roy's lapdog circulating such NCPRI / Congress / NAC sponsored videos. What have you done in your career in the Navy that the NCPRI gang can blackmail you with ?
2) Note the lies that Shailesh Gandhi was dishing out. At somewhere around 21:00 minutes he had the cheek to say "All Information Commissioners are selected by a system of patronage / lottery. I was selected by a lottery".
3) BULLSHIT !!! Mr Shailesh Gandhi was selected (??) by a system of patronage. He was selected to hush up certain inconvenient facts including about Sonia Gandhi's financial affairs which he had managed to obtain in RTI - and which unlike all his other so-called "all my emails are in public domain" bakwaas he never put in the public space. Mr Shailesh Gandhi's name / CV was inserted at the very last moment because he blackmailed his way into the post through a letter in 2 parts sent to Smt Sonia Gandhi by Aruna Roy's junior poodle Arvind Kejriwal (and co-signed by a few other of her handbag haramis). To cover up that SG would be "selected" Aruna Roy added on names of 3 other NCPRI "civil society" persons. Prithviraj Chauhan initially voiced his strong objections against SG's selection but knowing all the documents SG had obtained / applied for he later thought it better to go along as a loyal party man and family man. Of course the SG / NCPRI camp has some other story involving L.K.Advani protesting and objecting.
4) So if SG says "I was selected by lottery" - We the people say AMUSEDLY it was a FIXED lottery, where the "Magician" (who ensure which names go to the 3 member Cabinet and which "trick" you Lokesh will never discover even if you file 1,000 RTIs to the Cabsec or DoPT or PMO) has already stacked the deck and tells you "pick a card "ANY" NCPRI card - but preferably this one"

[HumJanenge] Re: New 500 words Rule
1) The RTI application cannot be "rejected" ONLY on the ground that it
contains more than 500 words. So the answer to your question is YES, a
CPIO can reject it along with another reason IF (and only if) that
other reason is a valid reason for rejection (like new Rule 9,
insufficient / excess fee etc).
2) The answer to your question is YES. An RTI application must
ORDINARILY be within 500 words (which INCLUDES the name and address of
CPIO and applicant). So for a RTI containing 1375 words the PIO can
demand Rs 30 as application fee by treating it as 3 applications. Note
that he is not "rejecting it"
3) The FAA ought not to reject it. OTH the CIC can do anything
(including reject it if they feel the application was frivolous,
vexatious, etc etc)

[HumJanenge] Re: Fwd: {IN.Cong] ultimate "Yes, I am an Indian" quiz
It seems, that 30 people from HJ had nothing better to do than answer
that type pass poll.
Luckily, more 26 of them got the right answer.
Which proves that HJ-GG still is "Indian" at heart
It also seems that HJ members (like their moderators) are completely
bored, and there is nothing left fpr us in the RTI scene any more.
Should we instead join this new movement for the "Right to Privacy",
also known as "Right to be left alone" ?
Last week I endured receiving over 450 emails allegedly from the
mailing list of "India Against Corruption". The most popular email
there was titled "Leave me alone".
After seeing the desperate pleas of people being unable to unsubscribe
from these mails (although to be fair the list owner "Ajay Dixit" had
given some very detailed instructions), I sense there is an even more
fundamental desire in Indians to be simply left alone to get on with
their lives and be spared the constant bombardment of sensationalist
"information" which keeps harassing them from every media joker and
RTI Taxi.

Sir,
LET NOT THE POLITICAL SPACE BE OCCUPIED BY MUD SLINGING
It is sad that Indian political space is now being occupied by unsubstantiated allegations and vituperative language. Certainly , the country's media space is not being occupied by those who deserve the space by their intellectual capability and credibility.
Mahatma Gandhi said that a man of truth should also be a man of care. Those who claim to be honest should be able to prove by their behaviour and utterances that they are honest.Such honest people will not use vituperative and abusive language and will conduct themselves with dignity and confidence.
For heaven's sake, use of counter productive abusive language should not be continued any longer. Let everyone concerned in this "battle", go to the electorate and seek their opinion. Certainly, the Indian electorate have shown enormous wisdom and maturity, much much more than the so called political leaders. Every time , they have rejected the unworthy people and gone for the better within the choice available for them.
Let everyone talk about the economic policies, social issues and give a firm assurance that they would be honest and truthful. There is no need to throw mud on another person to prove they are better and in the process get the mud thrown back at them. Indian voters deserve better and they can see through the game of everyone.
