Re: [HumJanenge] "Selfless Action" by Gandhi Pariwar
2) They get their money from their private Trusts and Foundations.
3) The money into these trusts comes from Rich Indian Industrialists
and FOREIGN Governments and FOREIGN Corporates (through dummy NGOs)
who want "favours" from her. All information is on Internet and in
Annual Reports of these Trusts.
4) When an Indian citizen got (by mistake of the CPIO) a RTI reply on
the subject containing the information that would make their primary
Trust a "public authority" under the RTI Act, the Italian Mafia simply
shut his mouth by making him a Central Information Commissioner.

Re: [HumJanenge] "Selfless Action" by Gandhi Pariwar
The recent media row about the Rs. 1,880 crores supposedly spent on
Sonia Gandhi's foreign trips is all rubbish and is not backed by the
RTI information.
Here is a summary of the facts as people are circulating to me:
1) Gandhi family are selfless karmayogis who selflessly act for the
nation and pay for all the expenses of their SPG bodyguards (hotels,
plane tickets, salaries etc) from their own funds without burdening
the Indian citizen.
2) That since the money is from their personal account they are not
required to report it to the Parliament, or the Govt or the NAC. Hence
it cannot be given in RTI
3) That Smt. Sonia Gandhi does not take even 1 rupee as salary from
the Govt despite her entitlement as Union Cabinet Minister and
Chairperson NAC.
4) That Smt. Sonia Gandhi only takes her (tax-free) dues as an
ordinary Member of Parliament.
5) That the property No. 10 Janpath is given to Ms. Sonia Gandhi to
live, in her capacity as widow of former Prime Minister and for
security reasons.

The Bhagwad Gita (2:39 .. 2:41) says that for such selfless action the
Gandhi Parivar can expect to be released from the endless cycles of
birth and death.

RE: [HumJanenge] Gandhi@2012
Thanks for raising the banner of Gandhi thought. It is high time the powers must be come out of their ‘shells’ of personal interest, take Gandhi to heart in right earnest and serve the people rather than themselves. Gandhi lived a life of utter simplicity on the model of an average Indian; let the rulers emulate him. Our economy can gather high momentum if our Exchequer is not depleted by catering to the unending selfish and self-serving aspirations – free large bungalows, free travel and services of all sorts, voluminous endless escalation in their emoluments, perks, personal security guards (keeping the people away at bayonet point) – a total antithesis of what Mahatma Gandhi was!
This is to extend my greetings of GANDHI JAYANTI to you, to all Members of your Organisation and all your dear and near Ones. GANDHI the Yug-purush, whom World (UNO) honoured by dedicating this day as International Non-violence day, practiced what he preached & preached what he practised: PREM (love) and SATYA (truth). From PREM flowed AHIMSA (Non-violence); from SATYA flowed NYAYA/SAMBHAVA (Justice/Equality).
Today
On this day, let us dedicate ourselves to PREM & SATYA, the rest will follow.
With Love & Best Wishes for a Happy Future,
Yours sincerely,
KN

Dear Friends!
Every Indian knows the name of Mahatma Gandhi and can identify him but only few are aware of his thoughts and teachings. This 2nd October 2012 will add another day of celebration in the name of the Mahatama. Full page posters and advertisements will be dedicated to him.
But can the advertisements serve the purpose which is increasingly defeated by its custodians? The past one and half year can be rightfully called the time of return of Gandhi and his Principles to the debates in the Indian public sphere. His posters filled the walls (including Facebook walls) of the India Against Corruption (IAC) movement. Even the Media gave us a new Gandhi in Anna. Never after independence did
But the question is that do we really know Gandhi? If Gandhi comes to 2012 what will he do? Will his principles and teachings stand the test of time? Can he bring the change what his so called followers and worshipers have mostly failed to bring? Nevertheless, Gandhi remains valid for many people in politics, community service, social harmony and personal ethics. Gandhi’s ideas on rural development, self sufficient villages, personal ethics in public life and inclusive policy making have recently been discussed more than ever before.

[HumJanenge] CONFIDENTIAL: Gross delay in resolving my outstanding Public Grievances
Mr. P.K.Mishra
Secretary, Dept of Personnel & Training
Date: Oct 2, 2012
Respected Sir
I am appending inline a series of emails to your junior officer
concerning the curious fact that 3 of my duly registered PUBLIC
GRIEVANCES are pending since 3rd May.2012 for resolution, and that
despite constant follow-up I have not received any communication
whatsoever concerning my grievances being resolved.
It is certainly a disgrace that the DoPT, which is meant to be the
standard bearer for good governance in the nation, is so lax and
unconcerned about the citizens who chose to approach for resolution of
their grievances through the front door of your Ministry's
Grievance Portal, under your stewardship are kept waiting in this fashion.
I can therefore now say publicly that you are a corrupt officer, that
your department is riddled with corruption, and that people such as
yourself are a blot on the nation's escutcheon.
Kindly take notice that you are a public servant, and that I am a member
of the public. You are required to serve me and all the other people of India.
The people of India are paying you to serve them and not the other way about.
So kindly do the needful.
Yours faithfully
Sarbajit Roy

Re: [HumJanenge] Sec 22 of RTI Act, 2005 about its overriding effect on other laws
| The law of repugnancy will play its role. Article 254 of the constitution of India states about it. In my opinion when an applicant has two options first option is the law of either central law or state exists on the day and which is established prior to RTI Act and second RTI Act I feel that the authorities should not compel to choose old law and reject information under RTI ACT but rejection of infromation is common and even courts(High Court ) are compelling to take info as per old law such compulsion is bad at law since Right to Know is a fundamental right under Article 19(1)(a) and RTI Act is enforced to give this right to all citizens the courts have ingnored many facts those old laws are not familier to peoples, second there is no provision of appeal in case authority is failed to provide info third the procedure of obtaining is not published on in print format and is not easily available to common citizens in India The judgments of Delhi High Court and other Courts took the right under RTI Act by asking to info under the law where getting info is difficult job viadya --- On Mon, 1/10/12, Sarbajit Roy <sroy.mb@gmail.com> wrote:
