Re: [HumJanenge] Chalo Assembly- Long March from Nandurbar to Mumbai(500km.)

Firstly, is the language "abusive" ?

Secondly, although I prefer to use the term "booted off", seeing as how these were 'bhookey nangey log", some of them would not know what "getting the boot" meant.

Thirdly, it is the mark of a gentleman to use offensive language against one's inferiors.

This is your defend

You cannot deny the fact that then and now your language is most inappropriate. Anyway, this forum you should not use to defend yourself or to threat RTI activist and every single citizen using RTI for public cause is an RTI activist, at least citizen with fundamental rights guaranteed by our constitution

Dear Gobind

You are completely misinformed about the facts of the HumJanenge groups. I can assure you that Mr Shailesh Gandhi was never an owner / moderator of HJ (unlike me). It is also incorrect to say that I was kicked off the group. In fact I am still a member of the HJ-YG group, and it was mutually agreed between me and PMK that I would stop posting to that group using my then public ID (which was then sroy1947@yahoo.c..).

The RTI_India Yahoo group was also begun with the full knowledge and participation of PMK (he was a moderator too), so that many people on HJ who were not from Maharashtra or did not subscribe to the blinkered view of RTI being agitated by persons like Shailesh Gandhi or Shahid Burney etc could evolve their own interpretations of the Act.

If you remember you were "kicked off" from that group.
About other details, my contact no. and everything is part of my mail signature and why should I change it for you?

About purpose of the group, if you are really intend to discuss only decision of SIC/CIC you should have kept the messaging option in such a way that only after your approval mail posting would have been possible. You are self not adhering to group policy.

Whether it is lady or gentlemen you should not use such language which is not appropriate at all.

This is really sad to see such attitude from you. You must apologize for using such language to the lady. If she and her NGO think 500 KMs is long march there is nothing wrong. Mao itself has never defined the long march distances. For poor Adivasis for their rights, it might be long march.

Re: [HumJanenge] RTI Activists in Kolkata

Mr. Sarabjit,

No need to be Government Spokesperson. Everybody knows the proposed amendment is to make RTI Act weak so people must not be able to seek transparency.

If somebody has fear, can ask people from other state to help

Re: [rti4empowerment] Role of RCS in Cooperative Group Housing Societies

Dear Mr Goyal

If you have a grievance against the Society / RCS then RTI is not the tool to resolve it.
Have you availed your remedies under the DCS Act and Rules. Actually do you even possess a copy of the DCS Act and Rules, or have read it ? Have you availed your criminal remedies ?

1) Let me say that the RCS has given you a perfect reply. Is it your say that the 79 affidavits are physically held by the RCS "I have asked for information
which is with this Public Authority
" ? If so under which clause / Rule / Bylaw /Practice is it held by the RCS and not by the Society?

2) How many flats are there in the Society in question ? If there are only 79, then how come you are the 80th member ? Are you an original founding member ? How were you inducted as a member ? Do you have a valid share-certificate ? Can you vote at the elections ? What were you doing when only 79 flats were constructed ?

3) The 3rd query you have raised is because of the complete corruption by former RCS and Delhi Govt and LG and land mafia. You all know the Diwakar scandal. You are probably the victim of a criminal fraud  / cheating. Your remedy (if any) lies elsewhere

Dear RTI Activists,

In continuation of my request for information, in reply to my RTI application ID no. 10393 dated 30.12.2010, to RCS, GNCTD, I havge received a reply as follows:

"You have requested to provide photocopies of affidavits submitted by 79 members of the Society to the President of the Society who in turn submitted
to RCS before final drw of lots of flats.  The infomation pertains to Society record. The Society is not a public authority, hence your application
cannot be forwarded to society to provide you the information."

MY question is:

1. Is Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Govt. of NCT of De3lhi is not a public Authority? If it is, I have asked for information
which is with this Public Authority?   I have never said that you forward my RTI application to the Society.

2. Is RCS office has no role to play as regards monitoring the activities of the Societies and seek RCS  permission by se3nding relevant documents including
members' affidavits for final darw of lots?

3.  I was the 80th member who was not allotted the flat. No reason is given by the RCS or the President of the Society

4.  If RCS has no role, why 27 Coop. Group housing Socieites of Dwarka which held  the draw themselves as RCS is not ready to send its representative
for the draw, should be given any notice for legal action against them? RCS is not ready to send its nominee for the draw despite Delhi High Court
Orders and instructions of the Cheif Minister of Delhi.

On hearing from RTI activists, I shall give immense material of corrupt practices to the Movement of RTI as well as Fight against Corruption or
India Against Corruption the subject of todays' RALLIES all over India.
