a) As we had conveyed to another moderator of your yahoo group "rti4empowerment", the membership list of that group has been forwarded with a specific request that IDs of the members be added to this group.
b) Your statement that you are the "owner/moderator" of rti4empowerment is false and evasive. The reality is that there are other moderators, such as "bhartiya", "Colshivraj", "Colnrkurup", :"ckjain" and 4 other avatars of yourself. Anyone of these accounts could have been compromised.
c) The possibility of impending closure of Yahoogroups has been circulated to many Yahoo group owners and moderators, including yourself. You, and all your list moderators, were also repeatedly offered the opportunity to stake claim to the "rti4empowerment" and :"rti4ngo" OPENID groups at googlegroups (a copy of which is in our possession). Upon your default to claim these groups, they have been snapped up by one of your moderators. It is clarified though that the list-owner of Humjanenge googlegroup is not associated the list-owner of the rti4empowerment googlegroup.
d) Anyone who wishes to unsubscribe from HJ-GG can do so. It is an automated process over which the list owners have no control. Till date about 72 persons (including repeats ) have used this facility (ie about 4% of the members added). Sh. Mander was advised that since many group memberships lists (lawfully obtained) are being added to this list, having multiple memberships of other groups could result in his being unsubscribed and resubscribed. I reiterate that there is no question of forcing spam on unwilling netizens.
e) Lastly, there is no question of "borrowing" membership lists. The lawfully obtained membership lists are being "copied" / "archived" to this list, including as a backup in the likely event of Yahoogroups being closed down. If you have a problem with the persons you have annointed as "moderators" it is for you to resolve with them. I would also caution you that you may find that it was "you" who circulated your group's membership list to outsiders, a fact which may not settle well with your list's members.

As owner /moderator of yahoo group rti4ngo and rti4empowerment, let me state the factual position:
(A) It is absurd to state that yahoo groups are "collaborating" with google group humjanenge. There is no such collaboration with rti4ngo and rti4empowerment; I do not know about other groups.
(B) It is absurd and totally false to state that yahoo groups are closing on 15 January 2011.
(C) Persons who want to leave humjanenge@googlegroups.com, are not being allowed to do so without leaving their original group. This is an unethical and unwarranted intrusion in their privacy, arising from spam mail to persons who do not want them.
It is unfortunate that an absurd situation has been created borrowing email addresses from other groups and "membership list is being continuously churned from various Yahoo RTI groups".
Perpetrator of this unethical practice are requested to kindly seek legal advise and confine their enthusiasm to legal activities.

This group has not appointed any moderators as yet to individually service "unsubscribe" requests like yours.
The list owner and other members have repeatedly posted messages describing how to unsubscribe oneself. As this membership list is being continuously churned from various Yahoo RTI groups it is probable that you are being unsubscribed and resubscribed here.
To unsubscribe permanently from this group, you must first unsubscribe yourself from ALL the following RTI egroups by sending an email to the following IDs and re-confirming it.
The owners/moderators of many of these groups are collaborating to transfer their member lists before Yahoogroups is shut down on 15th January 2011
