Let us pray and hope that the total lock-down announced by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will bear some fruitful results in arresting the deadly COVID-19.
It is imperative however that the lock-down be enforced across the board which should include the residences and offices of the Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs and all government officials who would during the lock-down have to do all their personal work themselves including cooking, washing their dishes and toilets too. Let us keep our eyes and ears wide open as any of the above found violating the total lock-down must be booked as all their official and personal staff are entitled to stay with their families at home. The staff in those three escort vehicles being used by the Chief Minister are also entitled to stay at home during this lock-down for their safety.
The Chief Minister should Walk the Talk and ensure that the Lock-down is not a sham but is strictly enforced with no exceptions whatsoever except the Hospitals, Health care centres, Fire services and the Police Stations.
