Re: [IAC#RG] Frivolous "time pass" discussions on mailing lists

Mr S Balakrishnan,
Aren't you missing the woods for the trees ?Apparently, the intricate rules for the contestants  make it unavoidable to find an abode in the constiuency  he /she wishes to contest from . Don't you know why your PM is shown as a resident of far off Assam! On the flip side why don' t net savy , high profile (going by the intensity of your interest in pointing out cases of fraud in "high places") DESHBHAKTAS like you , stop splitting hair and point out the absurdity of our election laws & rules. We never tire to announce we are one nation, we have one Register of population ; but in the nomination form one has to have an address in the constituency   one wishes to serve!!
There are tens of thousands of laws , by laws & statutary rules made by the Babus of yesteryears & for the Babus in perpetuity (like YOU) to keep them diverted from the real issues . I beg you to rise above these petty issues. I am NOT an AAP member, yet Ifind your observation rather ridiculous. I will be wisened by others views/comments.....

We have received many emails asking for the IAC list(s) to be reactivated.

This was one of many issues discussed at IAC's conference for its "operations side" members which took place last week. About 600 persons participated.

The postings made by various persons over the IAC's email lists over the last 9 months were discussed in considerable detail. It was resolved that the list(s) may continue but henceforth only such messages ought to be circulated which have a tendency to promote / disseminate the core ideologies / values  of India Against Corruption and/or Hindustan Republican Association's mission.

Some conclusions from the meeting may be disclosed in due course.
