Re: [IAC++] Ms. Medha Patkar

I sent a mail criticizing Ajay Dixit, but he has not published it. Why not?

I am very surprised to note that some of friends protest in receiving mails which criticise some adored personalities like Medha, Anna ji, Arvind and others. Definitely they are all very respectable. But listening (just listening) criticism is no sin. Let some one mudsling, call names or make appreciations, he has right of presenting his point of view, may be untrue, unacceptable or even indecently presented. Every coin has two sides and by reading the view points of different people enhance the vision of a person. If you do not approve, why not to just read it and either agree that it is correct or delete it patiently if it is false. Just by closing eyes on the comments decent or indecent, true or untrue, mudslinging or admirations, is no good. Every comment just makes us more enlighten. So my friends please take it easy and do not say that please delete me or do not send the mails. Read it, keep or delete it, it is your choice. But not let you brain be prejudiced on any side. Let them say what they know, feel or say prejudicially under jealousy, polarisation or personal reasons. We will filter the coffee and taste the best of our liking.

Subject: [IAC++] Ms. Medha Patkar
Dear SVS

"Ash" is the guru of everyone who ever learnt RTI and corruption fighting in Delhi from 2001 onwards. What Parkash Kardale of Humjanenge was to Maharashtra RTI, Ash was to Delhi RTI.

Ash has always been the behind the scenes mover and strategist for IAC movement. Being in the government himself for many years he knows the system and its weak points very well.

As a noted IT specialist he had always handled the backend IT operations including centralised email and address database for IAC Andolan.

This database is the bone of contention between the 3 warring factions of present IAC because Ash is clear that the list should only be used for communication and publicity and not for harassing IAC sympathisers for money and donations.

Now of course all the 3 groupings are going their own way to expand their own power bases and maintain it themselves.

The IAC list (now 12,000+ subscribers) is meant for the IAC which will come after Arvind & friends leave us. OTH,  the indiaagainstcorruption mailing list (270 subscribers (is for Arvind's Core Committee team)
