Here is an FAQ on RTI Act 2005 in English prepared for the training of activists working for PWD (Persons with Disability) in 5 States- Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, West Bengal, Delhi and Orissa held on 27/28 September 2011 at Hotel BNR Chanakya, Chakratirth Road, Puri under the aegis of ADHAR, Bolangir supported by European Union and VSO India. This FAQ is a standard précis of various provisions of the Act without being judgmental on the Rules framed under the Act by different States. However, this FAQ can serve as the anvil on the basis of which the RTI Rules made by different States can be assessed in terms of their compatibility with the provisions of the parent Act.
