[HumJanenge] To Indian leaders for AWAKENING

 Dear Friends,

Instead of finding solution to this hugely wide-spread corruption, our leaders are engaged in Blame Game. Is this the solution?
In CVC's selection, officers need to be punished who did not place all facts including chargesheet before the slection committee headed by the Prime Minister. See his guts when he says that 135 Members of Parliament are chargesheetede still they are there, then why not me? Who knows how many tainted bureacrats have been promoted by non-revealing facts going against them? Has  any politician in India been punished for open loot of public money? This policy of our leaders is creating a BRIGADE of Ravi Inder singh and co.

The solution of the problem lies in withdrawing all privileges including Article 311 of the Constitution of India, removing all public funded security provided to tainted and chargesheeeted Ministers and Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assemblies. There is most urgent need of reforms in judicial process so that lakhs and crores of people should have justice in this so-called democracy. Let the process begin once, a number of shortcut practicals will be provideed to clear the backlog in the Courts.     .

Subject: Re: Appeal to India leaders for a Egypt and Tunisian like awakening in India and "FOOD FOR THOUGHT"

Dear Colleagues in the service of the nation,

It is our common desire for the change and this appeal from Shri Satyaji is timely.

However we need to be cautious that our actions should not create a vacuum in governance, which may create chaotic situation.

On this issue, I had a chat conversation with Shri Shailesh Mehtaji from USA. I am forwarding the same to you all.

We have food for thought and we need to make out a well thought plan, strategy and our actions shall be directed to achieve the desired change and should not end up in changing merely the people in power as we did time and again in the past including in 1975.

"Chat conversation with Shri Shailesh Mehtaji"

  • 12:56 PM Shailesh: Namaskar.. Surenderji..
  • me: Nams...!!
  • Shailesh: I wish what you write.. works out..
  • 12:57 PM me: Trying hard with full commitment and not going up to give up ...
  • Shailesh: That is indeed the best spirit..I wish good Luck & pray for the success..
  • 12:58 PM me: This is minimum what we can give to our country, society and next generation
  • Shailesh: I am also in contact with Mr. Satya & many others from here..I strongly feel non-cooperation could be the way out.. I keep writing about it..
  • 1:00 PM me: Good. More and more middle class educated people need to come out and take leadership. That will put the tipping point closer and balance will tilt in favor of change. What I am cautioned is that in absence of a well organised organisation, we may end up replacing people without changing the system.
  • 1:03 PM Shailesh: That is why... Starting from Non -cooperation.. the changing of the system gole can be achieved.. If we ask another election.. also we are back to square one.. as the entire system is corrupt..Let the present gov. work for the balance period & get noting from the people..
  • 1:04 PM me: But we should be ready with alternate OR reformed blue print of system and alternate set of people to take charge
  • 1:05 PM Shailesh: that is true..Asking the present servants of Gov. is also useless..thay are the main instrument to generate corruption..So what are the alternative plans?
  • 1:09 PM me: That is what Lok Satta is trying to do. Please look at the detailed agenda which is researched based and documented and available on website. It is all encompassing and is based on building institutional mechanism for transparent, accountable and participatory citizen centric governance. Now these can be further polished but we need to build an alternative political organisation and leadership to fight elections and then deliver this agenda
  • 1:10 PM Shailesh: What action plans proposed to be taken-up by the people? such that the present Gov. become in-effective? I am i.. Shall be in communication with you..n CA USA.. & studying different alternatives. Shall be in communication with you..
  • 1:14 PM me: We can discuss. In fact I am in Delhi tomorrow to meet up with few local leaders to build a strategy for next Delhi, Municipal and assembly elections. Also for first Gurgaon Municipal elections. We need to showcase these buildups in more and more places in India and people (middle classes) will come out from their comfort zone shunning their inertia and push for change and a momentum will build. Only thing is that this type of work requires continuous commitment, perseverance, hard work on the ground, quality local leadership and long term sustainability.
  • 1:15 PM Shailesh: Please keep me/us [ posted of happenings..
  • Vande Matram.. Jsk.
  • 1:17 PM me: You are on my mailing list and I hope you are getting daily mails and that you find time to read them. Sorry for filling in your in box. I hope you do not mind
  • 1:18 PM Shailesh: I shall be in communication.. I trad all mails.. Jsk..

It is our earnest appeal to leaders of India to engage in a massive awakening of the kind happening in Egypt and Tunisia.   The massive rally of more than 30,000 at New Delhi on Jan 30th should only be a beginning.    What is needed is 10 crore people gather at the capital city and demand a change.

Is such a rally achievable in India?  Our history shows that one man, Mahatma Gandhi could awaken  one third of country population (120 million of 350 million population) to act during Dandi salt Satyagraha.

Here is one humble suggestion.   Starting from key centers from about 200 kms of New Delhi, key leaders of the country consider to walk from different directions converging in New Delhi.   For e.g., Baba Ramadev can launch from  Haridwar.  Similarly other leaders such as  Dr Kalaam,  Arvind Kejriwal,
Sri Sri Ravi Sankar,  Dr. Swamy,  Govind ji and several others leaders can chose a location of significance from a distance of 200 kms from different directions and take a 10-15 day padayatra all converging at New Delhi with a goal of gathering 10 crore people of India at New Delhi.

History tells us that those who seized the moment made a drastic difference.  It is time the leaders of India seize the moment and walk for a change,  walk to save this nation.

PS: The uprising in Egypt was fueled largely by intenet networking site Facebook.  Let us also use best use of technology to awaken the people to act.

The following video has about 20,000 hits in all its versions (this is fourth version) in about a week.
