i some where feel that our government gives punishments to the criminals with a human touch,if they don't then human right activists trouble them.but i would like to highlight that human rights are meant for humans and not for people who are inhuman in the human society.raping a woman ends her social dignity and her chance to walk down the streets, market places with her head high...she further becomes victims of people remarks and abuses which may compell her to take her own life.so,rape must not only be seen as sexual intercourse without consent but be seen as the greatest crime committed against woman.british govt had very strict rules our hero bhagat singh ji was hanged as the british had to give justice to the family of the police personnel killed by him but sadly we lost our greatest hero such rigid was the law at the hands of the british.our govt must take steps to make punishment more harsh so that it sends out a psychological fear out of the court rooms to the masses so that they even fear to dream to commit crimes.........

1. Mandatory castration for rapists, and 2. Immediate forefeiture of all properties-assets, salaries, PF, etc. and pay the victim the entire amount realised, and3. Jail of at least 20 years OR till age 60, whichever is more.Victor
